LAS VEGAS, USA – US President Barack Obama staunchly defended his unilateral move to shield millions of undocumented immigrants from deportation Friday, November 21 pledging to implement his controversial plan despite furious criticism from congressional opponents.
"I have come back to Del Sol to tell you, I'm not giving up. I will never give up," Obama insisted at the Las Vegas, Nevada high school where he launched his immigration reform efforts two years ago.
"We're going to keep on working with members of Congress to make permanent reform a reality," he added.
"But until that day comes, there are actions that I have the legal authority to take that will help make our immigration system more fair and more just, and this morning I began to take some of those actions."
He wasted little time, signing two elements of the orders on Friday.
The controversial overhaul, praised by many immigration rights activists, provides 3-year relief for millions of undocumented people who have lived in the country for more than 5 years and have children that are US citizens or legal residents.
According to the president, it also channels more resources to the US border with Mexico and shifts deportation priorities toward expelling felons....

This move will not result in the voters the Dems are hoping for. At the end of the day the fallout could result in a net loss for them...

Congress will be recessed for ten days.
They come back for four. Then they're off for another four. And then they are in session for only four more days this year.
Between now and the end of the year, they have eight days in session.
if he were to talk this trash in a room full of American citizens he would be lucky to get out alive.

I get a lot of flack from people regarding my lack of regard for El Presidente Obama. Some of it is good natured ribbing. Some of it is downright nasty. I actually hate that I couldn’t be a part of the euphoria that was the First Blackish President.
I have no allegiance to White America, Black America or any other hyphenated class or socioeconomic status. I am conservative minded but I am no Republican. I just know enough history, enough policy, and enough reality to not be pulled into the fold.
So now we are faced with immigration. Those on the left say “you just hate Mexicans” if you are against it. They say you just hate it because Obama is black. So on and so forth. There are a few things that bewilder me about the whole issue. But for those that meet my ideological perception with ire please allow me to drop this on you.
According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics(BLR)
Unemployment Rates
Black 13.1%
Hispanic 9.1%
Employed
Hispanic 22 Million
Black 16 Million
Non Institutional Population (All the people not in jail and old enough to work)
Hispanic 37 Million
Black 30 Million
So looking at the numbers, both races are struggling in the jobs market. However, Hispanics already have a decided edge. in employable population, employed population, and percentage unemployed.
Think of adding 5 million, 10 million, maybe even 20 million more Hispanics to these numbers. Sure you can say a large portion of them are children. Ok, but considering 1 our of every 5 black babies is aborted (52 million since 1976) these immigrant children are still imposing when it comes to workforce numbers.
To put it bluntly, Barack H Obama is about to drop on nuclear bomb on blacks as far as employment goes and he knows it. Blacks will feel it from top to bottom. From the job search to the welfare office. You try getting an appointment for food stamps after he finishes with immigration. Better learn how to speak Spanish.
Of course most blacks are not paying any attention to this. We are butt hurt over a kid picking a fight with a man with a gun. We have NO CLUE the smack down that is not only coming for us be also for our children. There are only so many scholarships, only so many jobs, and our president is literally stacking the deck against blacks with this immigration.
giving his speech at a high school is indicative of the political mindset of his supporters....14-15-16 year old political geniuses, a group which ALWAYS knows all the answers.
