Last night’s presidential address on decreeing that millions of illegal aliens can stay here in violation of the law contained a deep deceit, buried in words that were, on the surface, true. President Obama’s rhetoric left the impression that at last, illegal immigrants would “pay their fair share.” From the official transcript:
We expect that those who cut the line will not be unfairly rewarded. So we’re going to offer the following deal: If you’ve been in America for more than five years; if you have children who are American citizens or legal residents; if you register, pass a criminal background check, and you’re willing to pay your fair share of taxes -- you’ll be able to apply to stay in this country temporarily without fear of deportation. You can come out of the shadows and get right with the law. That’s what this deal is. (snip) (emphasis added)
…millions of people who live here without paying their taxes or playing by the rules while politicians use the issue to scare people and whip up votes at election time.
The problem with this rhetoric is that very few illegal immigrants make enough money to actually pay taxes. Instead, their “fair share” will amount to a substantial gift from American citizen and legal immigrant taxpayers who have played by the rules.

The only way they can pay their fair share is with jobs taken away from Americans. More Indians are here doing just that than those from Mexico. Indians are taking technical jobs.
I’ve had two Mexican sister in laws and I can confirm that they and their Mexican friends don’t pay taxes. They collect EITC for their legitimate jobs and then work under the table to avoid going over the limit for EITC. PLus..they dodge any medical bills. They get food stamps, free school lunches…PK thru 13 (none of their kids finish by 12) etc. They consider are laws a joke and only for gringoes.
I’ve seen it all with this window on their world.
And the IRS makes no attempt to investigate and prosecute such fraud. I’ve done some tax preparation and it is clear that many of the EITC and child credit claims are fraudulent.
The government has even admitted it in recent years, but they still do nothing. They seem to consider it just another welfare program.

An eerie quiet hangs over Intipuca, a Salvadoran town ... ... a symbol of the Central American exodus to the United States. In a bid to address the influx, US President Barack Obama pledged on Thursday to overhaul America's "broken" immigration system in a controversial move that would protect millions of illegal arrivals from deportation. Back in El Salvador, Intipuca epitomizes the impact of that migratory trend.
Its central square, "Emigrants Park," boasts a monument to local farmer Sigfredo Chavez, who slung his backpack over his shoulder in 1967 and headed for the United States, becoming the first Intipucan to make the journey. Three months after leaving, Chavez sent his first letter home. He was living in Washington and working as a dishwasher.
News that he had already found a job spread like wildfire through the town. He eventually brought his family to live with him -- the first of around 5,000 Intipuca residents to migrate to the United States,... Of the 7,000 people who remain in Intipuca, it is nearly impossible to find one without family in the US.
Remittances sent from the US changed the local economy. Emigration has been "both good and bad" for Intipuca, says the town's superintendent, Santos Portillo -- who himself has two children living in the US illegally. "It helps the economy here, where there's no work or the jobs pay hunger wages. But it has also caused families to disintegrate," he told AFP. "A lot of kids drop out of school. And we have a lot of parasites who just waste the money their relatives are working double shifts to send."

According to the Internal Revenue Service, two parents with three or more children would receive up to $6,143 in 2014 if they earn less than $46,997.
A family with two kids, and an income of $20,000, would receive $14,590 in taxpayer funds this year alone.
That money will be coming out of the pockets of Americans whose jobs those same illegals will be taking. How many billions in earned income credits will the 5 million illegal aliens be receiving?
Obama with numbers is like mixing water with oil.
Looks like EITC amounts have increased tremendously since I looked at the income levels and “earned” amounts.
One of this nation’s biggest unprosecuted tax cheat crimes.
Every year, right after the holidays, “fast tax” outfits pop up like dandelions in the ‘hood. There’s one or more on every block.
Everybody gonna grab that EITC.

After destroying the best health care system in the world, Obama is determined to grant wide amnesty to foreigners living illegally in U.S. If Obama wants to make the U.S. into another banana republic, it seems he is well underway to reaching his goal.
The Republicans must make it perfectly clear that Obama has declared a merciless war against the American workers and the middle class of America. There are 92 million of able Americans out of the work force because they cannot find employment and Obama wants to legalize and give work permits to over 11 million illegal aliens allowing them to bring here the rest of their families. In other words, another 25 or 30 million that either will compete with Americans and legal immigrants searching for scarce jobs or are going to be added to welfare, bankrupting Medicaid and the food stamp system as well as ruining even more the quality of the public schools with the massive infuse of hundreds of thousands of children without speaking English to already overburdened schools systems.

Obama’s new class of protected immigrants will take over their jobs and Blacks will be forced to share their welfare checks and food stamps with them
Why do all these articles avoid or ignore the fact that a large fraction of the illegal immigrants work in the underground economy thereby by all taxes except sales taxes.
