SESSIONS: NOW IS ‘TIME TO STAND STRONG’ AGAINST OBAMA’S ILLEGAL AMNESTY TO PROTECT AMERICAN WORKERS
Breitbart ^ | November 20, 2014 | by MATTHEW BOYLE

Posted on 11/20/2014 10:01:15 PM PST by Jim Robinson

Incoming Senate Budget Committee chairman Sen. Jeff Sessions says that President Barack Obama’s executive amnesty is something that is “endangering our entire constitutional order” as a democratic Republic.

“President Obama’s executive amnesty violates the laws Congress has passed in order to create and implement laws Congress has refused to pass,” Sessions said in a statement. “The President is providing an estimated 5 million illegal immigrants with social security numbers, photo IDs, and work permits—allowing them to now take jobs directly from struggling Americans during a time of record immigration, low wages, and high joblessness.”

Sessions noted that Obama’s specific actions were each rejected by Congress, and as such acting without congressional approval puts the U.S. system of government in jeopardy. Even though Obama and the White House claim that Obama’s actions are backed up by each previous president dating back to Dwight Eisenhower, the previous presidents’ immigration executive actions—at least the Republican ones—were done in conjunction with the will of congressional approval. Obama’s does not have congressional approval.

“This amnesty plan was rejected by the American people’s Congress,” Sessions said. “By refusing to carry out the laws of the United States in order to make his own, the President is endangering our entire Constitutional order.”

Sessions also hammered the specific detail of Obama’s plan that allows illegal aliens to get green cards—and a fast track to citizenship and taxpayer benefits.

The man still wants a legacy, even if it is the destruction of the country. He wants the (albeit) small number of extreme followers to slap him on the back and tell him how great he is. They think they are smarter than the rest of us, and Gruber let everyone know that.

He can change laws (he thinks), write more executive orders, whatever. I say we respond with ‘Thats nice, but the law didn’t change’.

We just need to minimize his impact, and I think he loves it when the people rage against him - as long as his small core thinks he is doing great.

If he and his followers understand that any order he writes is only in effect for 2 more years, reasoned responses will just draw the nation towards the republicans, and in 2 years, it all gets undone.

When I say ‘reasoned’, I don’t mean John McCain. Actively oppose him, just no rage. Pat him on the head and minimize him. Give him a chance, and he will continue to destroy the democrats as a majority party.

Yes I know who the Jury is, and until they hear the case we should not presume that every rat is a no vote. There may be a sane one or two, but we won’t know until they are tested, and they should be.

I just heard someone suggest that everyone who flies Old Glory should turn her upside down - nation in distress. It sounded good to me - at least at half mast for the death of the constitution.

Wrong, 67 in the Senate, and the House is too cowardly to impeach.

COUNT ON IT!

People won't be able to change things even if they knew how or were willing to do so.

If the future is “our finest hour” or “Waterloo”, I suspect strongly that it is the latter.

Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush upset the rank and file earlier this year by calling for a compassionate approach to immigration. In April, he said undocumented workers who enter the country illegally do so as “an act of love” because they “are actually coming to this country to provide for their families.” Then there’s New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, who in January broke with the national party and signed a state-level version of the DREAM Act. Like Bush, he framed his support for reform through the lens of strengthening families....

Still, both candidates may never reach the general election because their positions are anathema to Republican primary voters.

How about that for an unintended consequence-knocking Bush and Christie out of the primaries!

You do know that a new President can rescind executive orders?

So at worst these people get a two year stay that will end with a GOP President.

Between the slow economy, lack of jobs, the ever increasing price of groceries and utilities under 0, Obamacare taxes, the increased welfare burden brought on by the illegals that will increase our taxes, and the sentiment of the American People who feel very betrayed and violated right now, I’d say tax payments for 2014 are going to be a new historic low and the IRS will find out the illegals didn’t pay the taxes they said they would. It will be fun watching the government running on fumes.
