Although the Harvard graduate and former professor often speaks of “teachable moments,” the president saw nothing worth learning in the outcome of the Nov. 4 elections, when voters gave Republicans their largest majority in the House since World War II and drummed the Democrats out of control of the Senate. More, he doesn’t care that poll after poll shows a growing disillusionment with his signature policy as president, Obamacare, which now holds a record low approval rating of 37 percent. And his plan to use executive authority to grant amnesty to millions of illegal aliens rates just about the same — just 38 percent of Americans approve.

The term “Scorched Earth” was first manifested in the final days of World War II. As the Russians were forcing the Nazis to retreat pushing them further and further back into Germany,they made sure that the Russians could not use anything the Nazis abandoned in retreat, against them. And so enforced a scorched Earth policy where everything left behind was utterly, totally destroyed as not to give the Russians the slightest military advantage.Thus, Scorched Earth.

Me too. Way back on the night of the 2008 election I just knew we were in big trouble, real danger with a usurper getting elected. I never imagined it would be this horrendous. The list of his offenses is too long to list,add to it his importing diseases and acting like beheadings in America are not worth a mention. I am sorry to have lived to see the destruction of my America.
I don’t know what wonderland ‘cloudmountain’ lives in, but I lost my business due to Obola and his policies.
Also, just try not paying your taxes....next month I will get a property tax bill of 7000 dollars. The nazis take our property if that mob tax is not paid.

If "plenty of our fellow citizens are already boiling" then I pity them. People in this country have a better chance of success through education, skills and service occupations than most countries on the planet in all of human history. A plumber or auto mechanic has a job anywhere in the U.S.A. or planet Earth.
Legally employed get all kinds of benefits if they have worked: unemployment, workman's compensation, social security, vacations, holidays and retirement. Self-employed just have to be VERY assiduous in their long-term saving.
I've seem many people screw themselves into a corner, then are SHOCKED to find themselves unable to get free. They do it through ALL kinds of bad ways: bad relationships, bad marriages, bad investments, all kinds of "bads."
They get bailed of trouble with government housing, food stamps, FREE medical care closest to them. What else can be done for them?
The illegals wouldn't be here UNLESS Americans hired them. Illegals wouldn't be here unless there was money on this side waiting for them. They will work for less, work longer hours, holidays, Sundays...whatever it takes.
People can't live the "American dream" unless they are will to work, work, work, work, work, work, work, work, work and then work some more. I worked fifty years.

Legalizing millions of illegals is wrong, wrong, wrong and would not have been done by the GOP. Americans freely VOTED IN Obama TWICE so we have no one to blame but ourselves for our Pimp President and his party of Screw-the-Middle-Class.
Finally, he couldn't have/can't do all this damage alone. He HAS to have accomplices: Congress, state legislatures, country/city/local law makers--all kinds of accomplices.
He and his Screw-the-Middle-Class party could have even been VOTED OUT OF OFFICE in 2008. They could have been, but weren't.
Whose to blame? Folks have to look in the mirror once in a while. Don't you agree to some/any extent?
