I haven’t heard one valid reason why Democrats wanted to pass the law without giving opponents—or themselves for that matter-—a chance to read its provisions and debate the reality, rather than the propaganda put forward by Gruber who knew all the dirty little secrets but felt it was better to lie about its provisions in order to mislead the Congress and the American people.

Any media defenders of the ACA, the Democrats and Gruber have a big burden to overcome as to why they rolled over on their back and asked for the administration to rub their tummies.

There was a place I worked a few decades ago where a pilot’s manual for a product we built had a sentence that said the exact opposite of what it should have.
