Washington (CNN) -- A defiant Barack Obama dives into what could be a defining period of his presidency this week, after repeatedly enraging Republicans from afar during his Asia tour. Obama faces showdowns with the GOP over immigration, the Keystone XL pipeline and his drive for a nuclear deal with Iran, all of which have huge consequences for his political legacy.
Far from being chastened by the Republican capture of the Senate, Obama is setting out to prove he is no lame duck and can still set the agenda. Obama chose a highly symbolic setting to set the tone for two final White House years in which he will face a unified Republican Congress. Side-by-side in Myanmar with the world's most famous dissident, Obama refused to bow to what Republicans regard as the capital's new political "reality."
On the veranda of the lakeside villa from where Aung San Suu Kyi faced down a junta, Obama said he had long warned House Republicans he would use executive power to reform the US immigration system if they failed to. "That's gonna happen. That's gonna happen before the end of the year."
"I can't wait in perpetuity when I have authorities that at least for the next two years can improve the system," he said.

That's not setting the agenda. That's exercising power he has not Constitutional authority to use.
His job is to carry out legislation passed by the House and Senate or veto it.
1. He knows it would never be successful.
2. He knows the media would devote their full attention to the topic and he could get away with anything he wants over the next two years.
3. He knows no republican would ever dare reverse any of his executive orders or legislative moves for fear of the race card legacy that would surely be exploited by the media in perpetuity.

Why should the Tyrant bend when the EXEMPT
let him Quarter diseased criminals without transparency?
and let him use the IRS as he pleases
while he makes deals with Iran
and al Qaeda ... against the American people?

Impeachment isn’t on the table because America isn’t sufficiently sick of BO.
WE are sick of BO...but the Republicans are smart to not do it at this point.
He is, however, extremely unpopular and is in the process of self-destruction.
I wonder if his threatened amnesty will even work the way he wants it to work.....I find it very easy to believe that the public anger at his action will cause fear among illegals. They may retreat from his “offer”, knowing it is likely to expose them to later prosecution.
Anyone can see Obama betrays allies at the drop of a hat. Why would these people be any different?

Send Obama a tough immigration bill.... He will either sign it or veto it....
Probably the latter to show he is stil relevant...
If he does an EO because he didn’t like the bill the congress has the legal means to overturn an EO....
If he attempts to violate the constitution, he will need to be corected hy congress one way or the other. he can not be allowed to bipass the constitution through edict. No president can. Until he actually makes such a move however, it’s all just talk.
It all comes down to how much lawlessness Congress will tolerate from the POTUS.
The House of Representatives must impeach this man.
States need to step up and instruct their Senators to convict.
His lawlessness is an immediate danger to the safety and sovereignty of the States.
One’s position on the illegal alien/amnesty issue is immaterial. Obama’s actions are beyond the authority of his office.
He is acting/threatening to act illegally, the consequences of these illegal acts pose a great danger to the States and The People.
There is no alternative method to protect us from Obama’s malintentions. Obama must be impeached.
We have control of both houses... lots of things can be done before impeachment. Besides it’s democrats who want us to choose that option - are you standing with them?
