"an adviser who was never on our staff "

The the median White House staff salary is $70,700 and Valerie Jarrett makes $172,200.

Gruber was paid more than twice as much as Valerie Jarrett, and nobody listened to him?

Goober didn’t have to be on his staff to perform as he did. The fact that he was paid (handsomely)for his distortions is proof enough that it was intentional.

Who else was in the those nineteen meetings at the White House? Particularly on November 20, 2009, which shows Gruber spent 4 hours with POTUS (ie President Obama), who else was there? Can the logs dig that out?

“I think it’s fair to say there was not a provision in the health care law that was not extensively debated and was fully transparent,” Obama said,”

He lies as easily as you and I breathe.

Technically, a consultant is not “on the staff”. Very Clintonian of him.

an adviser who was never on our staff

That is a verbal sleight of hand. They paid him as a contractor to develop the law. So the president is lying, as is his wont. Or his teleprompter is, however you prefer to look at it.

there was not a provision in the health care law that was not extensively debated and was fully transparent

There were no substantive debates about what was in the law, because no one ever read the law. It was not written by congress, and was not read by anyone in congress before it was passed. This is banana republic Hugo Chavez stuff.

He also never heard of Rev. Wright, Bill Ayers, Frank Marshall Davis, or CPUSA.

Well, it doesn’t matter what he says at this point, because most people just assume that most sounds emitted from his pie-hole are lies, deceptions, and at best, half-truths. I really don’t actually care what he says anymore, except as a source of amusement.

“JUST LIKE THE LYING HAG PELSOI HE NEVER KNEW THIS MAN.”

I’m willing to give her the benefit of the doubt, due to her condition. I’ve had to deal with Alzheimer’s victims and they just fade away like this, either forgetting things entirely or being unable to discern the difference between imagination, fantasy, and reality.

“The fact that an adviser who was never on our staff expressed an opinion that I completely disagree with in terms of the voters is not a reflection on the actual process that was run,”

Coughing into hand BULLSHIT!

It all comes down to that, doesn’t it? You could say that the staff is only actual Government employees and everyone else is a consultant.

Ours went UP by almost exactly that amount.

Gruber, himself, talked about Obama being in the room when the Cadillac tax was invented.

That is such a nefarious tax, insurance companies are taxed on excess premiums for low deductible (good) insurance plans and get to pass the costs along to all policy holders. One oopsie is that self insured entities like big corporations, unions and governments would pay the tax.
