Grubers remarks weren’t intended as an insult, he was just voicing the liberal credo .... The vast majority of Americans are too stupid to make the “right” decisions in their lives so liberal elites and big government must make those decisions for them. Liberals are already forcing us to buy the “right” toilets and light bulbs, dictating what kind of car we should drive and even telling us where to get our news ( look at the derision heaped on anyone listening to Rush ot watching Fox News).
