Probably won’t. They’re to dumb, and lazy with no answers.
Too much to take on. ^$##$^*(^%7
It was more than stupidity.
Congress passed a law that they didn’t write, and didn’t read. That is banana-republic stuff. That is el-comandante-ruling-by-decree stuff.
They don’t need to ‘raise hell’...
they need to go after these people as the criminals they are.
If a business had pulled off such a deceptive stunt, people would be in jail.
Is this the RICO case we’ve been looking for to shut down the DNC leadership?
So who is stupid here? Republicans in Congress? No, because not a single one voted for this mess. Democrats in Congress? No, because they were in on the fraud all along. The American people? Not in large measure because opinion polls regularly tell us that 55% to 60% of Americans do not favor Obamacare. That leaves 40% to 45% who are the “stupid” ones. In other words, Gruber has just characterized Democrat voters as stupid.
I have to agree that there is a segment of our population that is stupid. They usually put a capital D after their names. I thought it meant democrat but apparently it means dumb. They bought into this "affordable" care act without even reading it. And it really was an "act", (such as in a fantasy).
This IS NOT NEW, "Dims", "Progressives", "Socialists", "Fascists", Communists" have held this view FOREVER!
I first awakened to this fact back in 1980 when, newly promoted to a position in DC, my boss was quoted in the WAPO as saying "well the people just don't know what is good for them!" Immediately thereafter, the issue at hand became my exclusive task to deal with! It only took 5 YEARS of regulatory filings and litigation to PARTIALLY lift the regulatory burden being reviewed!
Excuse me if I am somewhat jaded concerning pour collective future!
I respectfully disagree my dear sir.
In point of fact, nationalized healthcare has been a part of the Democrat Party platform since the days of Harry S. Truman. In the 1960s, the Dems achieved much of their health care agenda with the passage of programs such as Medicare and Medicaid. Obamacare is pretty much designed to wreck what is left of the private health insurance market and it will eventually succeed unless it is repealed.
Elections have consequences. Obamacare is the result of an election. When you vote for Dem POTUSes and Dem congressional candidates you need to know exactly what you are buying into and what kind of legislation and policies will result from voting for candidates of that Party. And unfortunately, it is always far easier to pass legislation than it is to repeal it. Especially as more people become addicted to government programs, which is of course the long term strategy of the Democrat Party.
Not only that but they have purposely destroyed the education system to create even more stupid voters.
AND they are selling our children into debt bondage.
Nothing but sociopaths who care about nothing but themselves.
Here’s the basic equation for you, Gruber:
obamacare = massive political losses for democrats
=> obamacare architect is mildly clever short term but ultimately stupid and foolish
No conservatives are peeved, it's the Obama voters who are angry because someone from their side has made them feel stupid, albiet rightly so.
“the health care law’s authors took advantage of the “stupid” American public”
That’s what these members of the `Party of the People’ say when they think they have a `dead mike’ or when they’re among their `rat friends.
And that’s the way a grifting fraud usually describes his victims—`marks, rubes, suckers’: as `stupid,’ thinking it distances themselves from their own criminal actions.
Americans were burning up town meetings throughout 2010, scolding our reps that we didn’t want `Obamacare’. Then, without a single vote from the GOP senate, the `rats rammed it through Christmas eve, 2010.
Fraud can be civil or criminal. Most of the `rats pushing for passage of the ginormous act admitted they hadn’t read it. Many made material, false categorical statements about the operation of the statute: Obama in particular—at best, not knowing if they were true or false, statements which were intended to induce reliance on the parts of fellow `rats and others maintaining a shred of personal integrity.
The American public demanded to know more (”Or it’s spinach and to hell with it!”) but the `rats refused to explain the act. They knew what would happen.
The Democrats defrauded the American public.
Obama & Company’s actions in any given activity, from foreign affairs to domestic matters, would make a murder of crows blush.
Last Tuesday the American public agreed with this sordid analysis and conclusion and rendered its political judgment, not on the performance of the GOP but on the shameful malfeasance of the Democratic party.
Purple rhetoric? Anyone who isn’t furious by this time has either not been paying attention or has quite possibly been correctly `pegged’ by this arrogant `rat.
Why are these tapes, which have been around for years, JUST COMING OUT NOW?!
Boo friggin hoo. If the shoe fits, and boy does it! Ignorant morons, every. single. one.
Well, the a$$holes that voted for obamination ARE stupid.
This is what he "apologized for," because this is a red herring.
The important part of his statement was his admission that he deliberately crafted the law to make it incomprehensible, and to disguise certain aspects of it, for political benefit.
Democrats didn't understand the message of election day - they think they need to double down on thuggery, lies, and condescension.
It's almost funny.
Gruber and MIT could be poster boys for what jerks democrats have become and they STILL wouldn't get it.
Because no one on our side attended these lectures or watched them on YouTube. Some small-time accountant or insurance salesman, PO'd because of the doubling of his premium under Obamacare, decided on his own to review the available works of "the architect of Obamacare."
This represents hundreds of man-hours of work, something that few institutions can afford.
Second time. My bad.
This idiot will end up like Loretta Fuddy: D.E.A.D.
