are they going to force teachers to go to the inner city zoos and act as baby sitters for the feral youth?

Let this lady run the show:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iNSE_yVFmlM#t=219

Moskowitz is a lib, a total lib, but she gets education. Let the market work and this problem solves itself.

If you need to understand education reform:

Step one: Follow Walker’s policies in WI

Step two: turn it over to proven winners like Moskowitz.

Pushing amendments to empower commie assemblies of the states to control more pork is not the answer. They’re as bad as the federal regulating, big spending interests. Repeatedly tell your congressmen to shut down the Dept. of Education, and vote incumbents out of office. Educate your own kids.

Downsize to smaller, more efficient houses on cheaper properties. Stop funding the monster through property taxes that amount to thievery.

Ok then if I still had school-age children I would demand my quota of conservative teachers! What? There is no such thing?

Great idea! Put quality teachers into failing school systems....I’m sure they will do it voluntarily.

If they are threatened with reassignment, some of them will quit first.

Principal: “Jones, you are the top teacher in our school system, congratulations! And as a reward, we are transferring you to Hip-Hop High, at a slight salary increase. The good news is that there have only been two teacher deaths there over the past five years, and eleven hospitalizations due to assault. You can see that things have really improved!”

It’s a crime this kind of education is not available to the kids u speak of who want to learn!

It's a worse crime that the kids who want to learn dare not let it be known, lest they be beaten or worse for "acting white".

We need the negroes to step it up and act like they're part of western civilization.

Gangsta culture is incompatible.

I will abolish the 55 mph speed limit and dismantle the Department of Education. Ronald Reagan

Well, 1 out of two ain’t bad, I guess.

We have some posted 80 mph signs within 5 miles of the Austin City Limits.
Indeed, there may be some inside the City Limits.

I wish the Dept of Education had gone down too!

Liberals’ ultimate goal is the complete have accomplished the complete Federalization of education.

Only the uber rich or political elite easily escape the system. Check Common Core in your local school and don't believe that just because your state has opted out of Common Core, that they actually have. Some states like Texas simply renamed the program.

Use technology.

There is little need for a classroom today other than a need for a football team.

I’m confused. According to the various teachers’ unions, all teachers are equally high-quality to start with; after all, all raises are predicated on seniority rather than “excellence”. I thought the federal government had bought into that fiction hook, line and sinker. And here, suddenly, the federal government is pretending like some teacher are more excellent that other teachers.

I wonder how the federal government determines an “excellent” teacher from a “non-excellent” teacher in the first place?
