Singer-songwriter Peter Gabriel says he is not anti-Israel, but that he is “against occupation”.
Gabriel, who originally rose to fame with the band Genesis, contributed songs to a new compilation album titled “2 Unite All”, proceeds from which go to humanitarian organizations aiding Palestinian Arabs in Gaza, reports i24news.
“I am certain that Israelis and Palestinians will both benefit from a two-state solution based on the 1967 borders,” Gabriel said in a statement quoted by i24news. “We have watched Palestinians suffer for too long, especially in Gaza.” …

Huckabee used Peter’s song ‘Red Rain’ as the backdrop when describing the Republican wave this past Tuesday.
It’s an apocalyptical song, but in this case, Huckabee used it to describe the decimation of the blue state of mind.
Artistic/musical talent simply doesn’t correlate with moral or political intelligence. It merely affords a soapbox to the more well-known among those with talent, another venue for them to display their narcissism. And then there are also the peer and sponsorship pressures within their fields that make such nonsense convenient, if not profitable.
For me, liking his music has little to do with liking his politics, or with liking him as a person. And since I’ve never spent a dime on his music in my life, his idiocy in this matter no impact at all on my likelihood of doing so.

God gave the land to Abraham and his descendants...not the Palestinians. And these ungodly idiots, who think that they can divide whatever God intended for the Israelites to have are in for a rude awakening.
If he’s against occupation then why doesn’t he give money to move some of the islamicists occupying Israel’s land back to their own countries?!
Even better, Gabriel is worth $70M (USD), so why doesn't he set up a little camp next to his UK estate to house some of these unfortunate folks. /s
