Fineswine is 81 and she isn’t up until 2018, so if she makes it that long, she’s not likely to run again.
Boxster is 74, and she’s up in 2016. My bet is that she gives it another go. If a good opponent could be found 2016 might be a good time to try to oust her, particularly if she get’s primaried and manages to survive. Then again, with our “top two” election scheme, she might be running against another RAT.
Time will tell! We still have several House Seats that have yet to be called, and our RATs have lost their supermajority in both houses of the state legislature, so incrementally, the GOP has had a comeback here. We actually have a GOP Assemblymember for the first time in probably ten years!
