WASHINGTON — White voters of all ages were less likely to back Democrats this year than in elections past, helping Republicans nationwide but most acutely in the South — and overpowering Democratic efforts to turn out their core supporters among blacks and Hispanics.
In a nation growing ever more diverse, political forecasters repeatedly warn Republicans they must improve their appeal among minorities in order to remain competitive in the long term.

In Colorado, Mark Udall all but ignored white men.
He ran well behind Cory Gardner with white male voters.
Democrats liked to comfort themselves into thinking that is just a Southern white male problem.
It isn’t - not anymore. The truth of the matter is the Democratic Party is perceived to be a party uninterested in white men and could care less about them.
The Democrats can no longer win with a coalition of women and minorities. They risk becoming irrelevant.
One story that has gone under-reported is the fact that of the 13 freshmen Senators, 12 are conservatives and their average age is 50.

I’m slightly older.
The Democrats have a problem not only with white males but also with older voters.
White Male Voters “Get it”, by a comfortable margin (53-47 and sometimes higher), for now.
Most White Female voters opt for marxist ideology (52-48 or even more), and although that is only by a few percentage points at this time, it is sufficient to swing elections in either direction.
Minorities always tend towards marxist ideologies (Blacks are 90%+ for dems, Hispanics 57%+ roughly for dems).
This trend is not improving the outlook for the future of this country at this point in time going forward.
I personally predicted the left would continue to hold power in the Senate after the midterms and I am happy to admit I was wrong. That does not mean that the trends going forward bode well for the future of this country, and we'll see how things play out 2 years from now when the bulk of voters come out to renew their benefits.

That’s the point! Dems can not win on minorites alone, they basically have to win with a solid number of whites and high number of minorities. Well the thing is that those number of whites (middle class working family) are abandoning the dems more and more and the numbers are making it hard for Dems. Obama could get a high rate of minorities, especially blacks to vote for him and Dems on the ballot but ‘no Obama’ in mid-terms and coming 2016 presidential election means that its very unlikely that the Dems are going to get that same high amount of minorities to cover for losing white democrat voters.
2016 is ripe for an conservative to channel similarly to what Reagan was doing by going after those ‘Reagan Democrats’ middle-class families back in those days. With the bad economy and malaise going around I think a conservative could increase turnout but you can’t do that with a RINO like Christie or Jeb or some other
I really don’t understand how any straight man would vote Democrat. When I meet a man and politics come into the conversation and he mentions he votes Democrat my Gaydar immediately goes off. One guy told me one time he voted for Obama, but not the first time, but the second time. The look on my face was priceless. He started stumbling and bumbling saying “so Obama could finish doing what he started in his second term.” I said” you mean finish destroying this country”. Dumb stupid lib didn’t realize being dumb and stupid would affect how women perceive whether you’re gay or not. My conclusion, metro sexual or confused about his masculinity.
