NEW YORK – She's an under-the-radar contender to become the first black woman to head the Justice Department.
Loretta Lynch rarely holds news conferences, does interviews or gives speeches in her current job as U.S. attorney in Brooklyn. But the lack of a paper trail on Lynch hasn't kept her from emerging in recent weeks as one of only a handful of people still under consideration by the White House to replace the outgoing Eric Holder as attorney general.
The buzz over the 55-year-old Harvard Law School graduate was apparent as she sat next to Holder for his appearance at a ceremony last week in Brooklyn highlighting efforts to divert low-level offenders into drug rehab and job diversion programs, one of the attorney general's pet causes. In her introduction of Holder before an audience that included U.S. Attorney Preet Bharara of Manhattan — considered another attorney general contender — a judge made clear who she favors for the job.

In fact, the "the lack of a paper trail on Lynch" is the REASON she is being considered to replace Holder.
Black and female are the only factors that matter in Washington today.

Really, Eric Holder proved that one is not needed.
All Obama would do is direct the AG to do his bidding.
Hold every nomination up in conference the exact way Harry Reid ash-canned our stuff.

Why does our DOJ AG have to be black? “Lack of a paper trail” could mean she’s Obama’s sister! Congress better grow some gnads and interrogate this race-baiting racist who will CONTINUE TO COVER-UP HOLDER’S CRIMES.
Basically Obama has two options:
1. Appoint a black woman that doesn’t have anything concrete for the Republicans to object to.
2. Appoint a citizen disarmament fanatic and say the NRA is at fault for us not having an attorney general

I may be mistaken, but as I recall, UMass appointed as its campus chief of police a 4 foot 11 inch lesbian black-Asian mixed lady. I do not think she lasted long in the job.
Add significant disabilities and you’ve got the perfect government employee.
Black, woman, transgendered / lesbian, under privileged, disabled... brains and ethics not required.
