Good! Finally, some backbone in the Senate.

Say what you will about the late ole Senator Robert Byrd (D-WVA), but he knew the rules of the Senate and every nuance thereof. He used a 'technicality' to stop the 2001-2002 Senate attempt to pass CIR (a.k.a., amnesty for illegals).

I have a suspicion that Cruz is a similar kind of Senator. He probably knows the Senate rules backward and foreward. If so, he should be able to use nuances to stall and redirect legislation.
