Walker victory humiliates labor
POLITICO ^ | 11/5/14 | TIMOTHY NOAH

Scott Walker’s victory is a humiliating loss for organized labor.

The Wisconsin governor’s challenger was Democrat Mary Burke, a former executive at Trek Bicycle Corp. It was no photo finish; with 72 percent of precincts reporting, Walker was up 6 points. But Walker’s true adversary in this re-election race — and for the four years that preceded it — was the labor movement. He won every time.

I think Susana Martinez would be an excellent VP choice.

I would happily vote for her as well. lol

Not only is is she well qualified but she'd be good for the woman and hispanic vote. Excellent choice there.

The bogus War on Women may be history, but the Democrat “War on Walker” has just begun…

She easily won re-election, I noticed the MSM barely mentioned her. I don’t think that’s a coincidence. I think that Democrats are scared S-Less of her being on the ticket.

walker/cruz is better. he has almost all his experience as a successful executive officer. senators historically are terrible executives. it’d be better for cruz to be #2 to a great executive to learn how it’s done right.

I’ve been thinking Cruz/Walker...but Walker/Cruz would work too.

Yep.

But, I would hate to lose Cruz in the Senate unless he is president.

“Cruz would be wasted as VP, Majority Leader is his calling, IMHO.”

You are right about that. A leader with his personality and capabilities should not be sequestered in the Veep position.

personally i agree with you. cruz would be much more strategic as majority leader.

Walker is the union's Tar Baby - the more they punch the more immobilized they become: photo 4519480618_34a2d776ca_o_zpsjjertm70.gif

Trumpka is a union goon, ex-hit man, and should be in jail, so I'm very thrilled to see Walker kick his ass.

Trumpka is a union thug straight out of central casting. He's every union goon cliche wrapped in one ugly package.

And knowing how this pains him makes me smile.

Rush: "Scott Walker has defeated Labor"

"Scott Walker has defeated Bill and Hillary Clinton"

"Scott Walker has defeated Barack and Michelle Obama.,

"He's done it three times!! And all while running on a conservative agenda."

“I would happily vote for Cruz as well.

(But please people, let’s all get behind one once the primaries are complete).”

Unless conservatives decide on just ONE conservative to back in the primaries we will continue splitting our vote, and a RINO will get the nomination every time!

The moderates pick one candidate in advance, we have to do that too.

They should save this headline to print again in about nine months after the unions find some trick to make him run ... and win ... yet again.

Gee, the labor union thugs are humiliated? My heart pumps blood for them. Poor babies. Why don’t they take their little problem down the hall to the chaplain and take it up with someone who cares.

Big Labor is sucking the life out of it's members and taxpayers,Walker pointed it out.

That's why he's got my vote.

It’s important because it means other states will want to be like Walker in order to get their share of new jobs.

Cruz is a better speaker, but Walker has executive experience. I would be happy with either.

“Big Labor is sucking the life out of it’s members and taxpayers,Walker pointed it out.”

There’s a limit to what you can do with tax cuts and cutting out extra dollars for paper clips and “waste, fraud and abuse.” Everyone likes this easy kind of ‘fiscal conservative’ but it doesn’t fix the real problems.

Ever since I saw an interview where W said that Christians and Muslims worship the same god, I have no more time for him. If he, a self-described born-again Christian, really believes that, he’s got rocks in his head.
