Ex-Charlotte mayor, a convicted felon, votes in violation of bond (DEMOCRAT)
CBS ^ | Nov 4, 2014 | Jake Miller

Former Charlotte Mayor Patrick Cannon was stripped of his right to vote in October when he was sentenced to 44 months in federal prison after pleading guilty to felony corruption charges.

But just over two weeks later, Cannon cast a ballot in North Carolina's midterm elections. And the vote, a violation of Cannon's bond, has again landed the former mayor in hot water.

"Let's cut to the chase: He shouldn't have done that, and we're going to talk to him tomorrow," Greg Forrest, chief of the U.S. Probation Office in Charlotte, told the Charlotte Observer on Tuesday.

He doesn't get to vote again until he's dead. That's when he gets his Democrat Party voter ID card back.

It’s not fair!

If you block convicted felons from voting, the only reliable voting blocks that the Democrats will have left are illegal aliens and dead people.

UNC law dean Richard Myers, a former federal prosecutor, said he would be “terribly surprised”
if Cannon had not been informed at least three times that he had lost his right to vote: “Once
by the judge who took his plea, once by his probation officer and once by his attorney.
Good lawyers are supposed to tell their clients that,” Myers said.

“Besides, this is an issue that every African-American politician in the United State
knows about independently,” Myers said, because of the problem of disenfranchisement in
the black community caused by felony convictions.

Remember. This article was written by a CBS reporter. (CBS - Communist Broadcasting System - since Vietnam, and proud of it).

Now you know why there was no party identification of “his dishonor”.

Bernie Goldberg had it right in the title of his book “BIAS”.

Nuff said.

Hey ex-mayor, convicted felon. One buttbuddy coming up.

“...have there ever been any big city black mayors who weren’t corrupt?”

Actually, I believe that there might have been one - Harold Washington in Chicago, who died in office.

I care. The uneducated younger people in this country so abuse the English language that their communications are scarcely understood. When you can no longer communicate in writing, you become a primative savage of no concern or influence.
