The credit rating of Pennsylvania has been lowered this fall because too much has been spent in Harrisburg.
The GOP legislative leaders like Dominic Pileggi (Senate Majority Leader) are bought and paid for by labor unions.
Because of that, liquor is still sold in government stores staffed by unionized employees in Pennsylvania.
There is also zero action on reforming pensions for government employees in state government and education.
Tom Corbett raised gasoline taxes and Tom Wolf wants to raise income taxes and add a new tax on energy extraction in PA.
I did not vote for Corbett in 2010 and he won because I am a conservative, not a Republican. I will not vote for Corbett or Wolf on Tuesday. My vote will be the same in 2014 that it was in 2010, a write-in.
If Corbett loses, I have to believe its because some people in this state still resent the fallout of the Sandusky matter. The investigation into his sexual abuse of boys began when Corbett was Attorney General of the state.
I’ve noticed that when sports or sports coaches are involved, lots of people show up to defend them at school board meetings.
What a misplaced sense of priorities....
Corbett gets MY vote!
For two years Wolf has been bragging about all the taxes he’s going to increase or legislate from scratch. Then 2 weeks ago his ads in the York County area started to mealy-mouth about how he’s going go CUT taxes. I say bullhockey! If he has a D aftef his name, he’s a liar yb default. No honorable person would run as a D, mery based upon what the Ds have stood for these last 4 decades or longer. And may I cite the slaughter of innocent unborn children for openers; and did I mention their campaign for enforced sodomite acceptance and celebration?
Wow, that was a really, uhm, enthusiastic endorsement LOL.
“Sure, I’ll go out with you. You’re kinda good-looking, and I’ll forget about you being a janitor.”
One of my local papers punted. Didn’t endorse either candidate.
I don’t know anything about either of these two papers but I assume their both left-leaning. My takeaway is that even if they consider Corbett a failure (your link suggest a failure to dazzle with ginormous “progress”), they consider Wolf the democrat, a larger failure.
Ow, the Schadenfreude, it burns!
The commie Wolf will tax it to death, killing thousands upon thousands of good paying Pennsylvania jobs in the process.
Corbett:
NO ACTION on public union pensions which are bankrupting the commonwealth.
NO ACTION on making PA a right-to-work state
NO ACTION on at least making the unions collecting their own damn union dues (instead PA does it for them).
NO ACTION of at least stopping public union teachers from striking
NO ACTION to sell off the state liquor stores.
NO ACTION on forcing people to join a union as a CONDITION of employment
NO ACTION on school choice
What did we get instead???
The highest gas taxes in America
Doubling the tolls
Bailout after bailout to Philadelphia
Corbett gets my vote because he signed the Firearm Preeemption Bill into law.The Commie Rendell let it die on his desk.
Another good reason to back Corbett!
Aren’t items 2 and 6 of your protest the same thing? And where were your tolls doubled?
“We dont know where Wolf stands...”
Then shame on you for the morons you are. He’s a democrat; he stands for all the democrat party stands for.
Corbett is like every other Republican governor this state ever had, and I’m not thrilled with him either. But voting for Tom Wolf will kill us with taxes and further increase unemployment as businesses flee Pennsylvania.
Your gripes have more to do with the feckless legislature than they do with the governor.
2014 ALEC-LAFFER State Economic Competitiveness Index
http://alec.org/docs/RSPS_7th_Edition.pdf
PA is page 107
Pennsylvania is now ranked 33 out of all the states with Utah ranked 1 and New York ranked at 50
2010 PA ranked 43 under Rendell
2011 PA ranked 41 under Corbett’s first year
2012 PA ranked 40
2013 PA ranked 34
2014 PA ranked 33
Corbett has brought PA up 10 places in state rankings from 43 to 33 in his few short years as governor with regard to economic growth and tax burden

“If Corbett loses......”
OR, it could be because of folks like you who have been campaigning furiously against him for months. Your third-party candidate fruitcake Guzzardi lost so now you are trying to make sure Pennsylvania goes the way of Detroit. Gee, thanks.
Dominic Pileggi (Senate Leader of the GOP) will give the next governor what they want to drive this state downward.
Republicans will give Wolf his tax hikes because they will still control the legislature after Tuesday.....
I'll be voting for Corbett to make up for the vote you'll be throwing away.
Amazing, if a candidate is not 100% of what we want...you'll help a candidate who is 100% AGAINST our values. How can that help America or a state?
