Non-Citizens Are Voting
nationalreview.com ^ | 10/30/2014 | John Fund

Could non-citizen voting be a problem in next week’s elections, and perhaps even swing some very close elections?

A new study by two Old Dominion University professors, based on survey data from the Cooperative Congressional Election Study, indicated that 6.4 percent of all non-citizens voted illegally in the 2008 presidential election, and 2.2 percent in the 2010 midterms. Given that 80 percent of non-citizens lean Democratic, they cite Al Franken ’s 312-vote win in the 2008 Minnesota U.S. Senate race as one likely tipped by non-citizen voting. As a senator, Franken cast the 60th vote needed to make Obamacare law.

We could do this... and catapult Ted Cruz right into the Oval Office.

My old friend Robert K. Dornan was robbed of his congressional seat in Orange County, California years ago by illegals voting. He had the ironclad proof. The GOP leadership didn’t lift a finger to seat him, even though they had the power to do so.

You reap what you sow.

*nod* — I hear you loud and clear.

Because of the minority control in elected-offices/judiciary/education/media/etc I think it might be wise to re-evaluate our presentation of ourselves and our platform. One thing that I think is particularly damaging are the words Liberal and Conservative used as political descriptors. the reason being that they change meaning depending on who you're talking to, and all the definitions are completely valid; example:

Sees Liberal as Sees Conservative as
Liberal of, pertaining to, based on, or advocating liberalism, especially the freedom of the individual and governmental guarantees of individual rights and liberties. disposed to preserve existing conditions, institutions, etc.
Conservative advocating measures of progressive political reform, embracing collectivism and statism. disposed to restore traditional/founding principles.
Because of the bent of common education, I think it would do good to re-frame our arguments in commonly held values, like justice: even most people who have a liberal language-filter will agree that the injustice of the NSA's domestic espionage or IRS's political targeting ought to be redressed.

Where did you get that dumb table from? Did it come from a dumbed down school textbook? The outrageous part is the upper left quadrant, where the liberal individual sees liberalism is association with "the freedom of the individual and governmental guarantees of individual rights and liberties."

Anyone who sees Obamacare, for example, as promoting such values is obviously a total ignoramus! That's why the party of the "liberal" is appropriarely called the Dummycrat Party here.

As to the O'Keefe video, it provides enough evidence to show that the 'Rat operatives encouraging a non-citizen to vote are committing a felony under the NC statute. Where is law enforcement? What are they scared of? The perps on the video should be arrested and charged forthwith, whether they are male or female, white or black. Just a few well-publicized arrests should go a long way to keeping non-citizens away from the polls and keeping 'Rat hacks from promoting their illegal entrance into the American election system. It's called a deterrent effect.

‘Where is law enforcement? What are they scared of?’

Holder?

He only supports actions that target white conservatives. ‘His people’ get a pass, even if they stand armed outside of election places, verbally and physically intimidating whites. Even if the case against them has already been won, he will dismiss it. He is a racist to the core, and his refusal to enforce the law on behalf of anyone except politically correct minorities has taken its toll on the rest of the law enforcement community.

That's actually the dictionary definition of liberal — you apparently missed the entire point I was making: that 'liberal' and 'conservative' speak different languages. (Given that the hardcore liberals are the ones in charge of education, do you really think they wouldn't use language/teaching to present their worldview as a good thing? Of course they will!)

Anyone who sees Obamacare, for example, as promoting such values is obviously a total ignoramus! That's why the party of the "liberal" is appropriarely called the Dummycrat Party here.

You're not listening — many of those useful idiots who were tricked into thinking ObamaCare was some shade of good have had the scales fall from their eyes. Many of the 'liberals' I've met are more liberal because of the public education system [and therefore lack of exposure to differing thoughts] than anything else.

As to the O'Keefe video, it provides enough evidence to show that the 'Rat operatives encouraging a non-citizen to vote are committing a felony under the NC statute.

Oh, yes I know, but that's not what Mr. Finny and I were talking about. What we were talking about was that the majority of America are more conservative than liberal — but there are three big problems (a) out politicians don't pursue conservative values, (b) a good many people holding rather conservative viewpoints self identify as 'liberal' or otherwise see the world through 'liberal' lenses [because that's the way they've been taught in school], and (c) talking to the people in b to promote the conservative values that they have despite so few conservative candidates.

Where is law enforcement? What are they scared of?

I don't know.

I don't disagree that the perps should be tried but, again, I was talking w/ Mr Finny about another topic altogether.

“Liberal” used to mean that. According to the dictionary, WE are the liberals and the progressives too. Around the turn of the 19th century the term “liberal” was co-opted by socialists.

That's actually the dictionary definition of “liberal.”

So which specific dictionary is that from? You're telling me that, according to that particular dictionary, the definitions of "Liberal" and "conservative" are said to be subjective, depending on who is using the terms.

My take would be that the specific dictionary you cite was a creation of a relatively new politically correct editor and/or publisher, with the objective of getting it approved for use in left-run schools and colleges. I can assure you that dictionary creators of past generations wouldn't have to resort to tables such as that. (BTW, I still use my Funk and Wagnalls from the 1970s and find it perfectly adequate with rare exception.)

So are their several different definitions of what "is" is in your modern-day dictionary, as Clinton stated under oath? :)

Yes, I'm aware that until perhaps the early 20th century, "liberal" meant essentially what "libertarian" means today.

You're correct that the word "liberal" was co-opted in the early 20th century to refer to the left. I'm not so sure how much that change in the semantics was from the left itself, or how much the change came about as a result of political commentators of the era.

Well the UK Liberal party started up with what they called “social liberalism”, what they called building a welfare state, in the late 19th century and early 20th century. It’s probably all their fault.

There are still “Liberal” parties that aren’t socialist in some places. The Australia Liberal Party and the Liberal Democrats of Japan are the main center-right parties in their nations. The Free Democrats of Germany are basically libertarian.

If YOU, dear reader, are one of those who hold most Americans in contempt for being stupid idiots or leeches, then STOP IT and start handling the truth: liberals have to cheat because liberals are the minority.

You make a fine point. I know my circles are somewhat restricted, socially, but none in my grandchildren's generation, and none of those I speak with (with only one exception in six years) thought Obama was a good idea, or that his policies are good for America or Americans.

I realize there are millions of people I don't talk with, but the folks I do talk with are from all over the country and none of them supports the Dems. It just might be a question of profession and region, but frankly, I think the demographic expectations are well established by the press and the books cooked to make them happen. With voting machines converting votes for the R to votes for the D, all that need be set is the percentage of conversion and the D will win.

Fraud is the problem. Fraudulent voters, fraudulent votes, and fraudulent counts.
