Those people believe the First Amendment applies only to what happens inside the walls of a church, he said. True freedom of religion is the ability to take faith into the public square to influence the culture, he said.

The freedom we use to have, I guess. Fortunately, we still have some in Oklahoma.

I don’t think they believe that, but they do want to make it the reality.

“religious” freedom isn’t really at risk, unless you’re a Christian.

Christian freedom most certainly is in danger.

Amazingly, Pruitt said, the IRS did not defend itself but settled the lawsuit and agreed to new guidelines in enforcing tax law.

So let me see if I get this straight. The IRS was not taking actions against Billy Graham or the bishop in Wisconsin. They were sued for not doing so. They settled the suit. But the IRS is still not going after Billy Graham or the Wisconsin bishop. So what exactly is Pruitt complaining about?

“What happens inside the walls of the church....”

Do you mean like black preachers ordering their parishoners to bring their absentee ballots to church and he tells them who to vote for and how to mark their ballots....and then he takes all the ballots and checks that the choices were all correctly marked for HIS candidates before he turns in the ballots? Do you mean THAT kind of Freedom of Religion?

Freedom of worship, that is, allowing expressions of faith only within a church, is what the USSR did. It makes sense that Obama and Hillary both use that phrase. They both think like commies.
