Obama White House Bothered, Bewildered and On The Ropes
Washington Times ^ | October 27, 2014 | Wesley Pruden

Posted on 10/29/2014 8:17:22 AM PDT by lbryce

The days dwindle down to a precious few, and the White House continues to be bewitched, bothered and bewildered. The gang that can’t shoot straight keeps banging away. A lot of feet at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. are riddled with holes.

The Republicans demonstrated remarkable discipline in this campaign, committing few mistakes and this time saying a minimum of silly and destructive things, standing aside while Barack Obama and his befuddled legion make their incompetence a centerpiece of the campaign. The Republicans have finally taken to heart the ancient wisdom that when your opponent is shooting himself, be kind, considerate and helpful. Stay out of his way. Since this is a Republican year — nearly all the pollsters and pundits say so — this is the week Republican candidates for the U.S. Senate should begin breaking away, opening up comfortable leads with only days to go. So far that’s not happening. The weekend polls even show some of the races tightening. Uncertainty has yet to give way to resolution. The week is young.

He's got plenty of change hopefully coming his way but not much hope, probably could, would use some dope, as he's much on the rope.

I don't ever goad the powers that be here, always taking the high road, never looking to antagonize those who keep things rolling along here in civil-like manner in a way that deprives DUMB (Democratic Underground Members Brigade) something to troll about, but in mentioning Obama being on the ropes,I'd prefer he not be on the ropes but beneath them.

Apparently this guy doesn't get out much nor read newspapers nor search the internet. ALL of the polls over the last week have shown a SHARP break for Republicans in most races!

Lastly, I like the way the author makes it seem like Republicans always make stupid statements and such, but this year they decided not to use that as a recruiting technique. The fact is that usually the Democrats latch onto some stupid word like niggardly or macaca and the MSM help drum up support and anger in the masses! THAT is how it usually works.

Obama on the ropes??

I agree with Levin, Obama goes full Mussolini starting next Wednesday.

The GOP leadership has already said they plan to surrender in the name of 'better governing'.

Eh, pshaww

It’s not like the GOP senate isn’t going to ride in and take care of him.

Look at how fast Christie folded like a cheap suit.

And Cornyn, this morning, championing amnesty

Exactly. You can best believe that if a Republican candidate called a female governor (or any female) a “whore”, and then laughed about it too, it would be headline news 24/7.

I hate to burst your bubble, but Wesley Pruden has a great background as a newspaper man. He is also conservative. Google him.

My belief is that in the mind of the One, the Obama, the Savior and the Messiah, Democrat failure will be at the hands of those acolytes who did not take advantage of his political aegis and magnanimous generosity in offering to campaign for them.

Yes, they (he, his lackeys) are that deluded.

“Standing aside” and standing for nothing other than they are the other guy. That gives us a government party that will do nothing but line their pockets and plan the next election while not rocking any boats on capitol hill.

I hate to burst your bubble, but I never said that he wasn’t an experienced newspaper man, nor a conservative.

I said in this article that he hasn’t paid attention to what most of the recent polls have showed and he made it sound just like Republicans make enormous, egregious mistakes every election, but the facts back up my post. TYPICALLY, it is more that the Democrats pounce on a word or phrase and the MSM drives the nail in for them.

None of what I posted was refuted by your post. Have good day.

“The GOP leadership has already said they plan to surrender in the name of ‘better governing’. “

Reublicans are going to act depending on how many seats they take.
