What are we to make of a president who won’t fight a terrorist army — but will deploy 3,000 Marines to fight Ebola?
An administration that pre-emptively announces troop withdrawals while, in the next breath, declares global warming the greatest threat to America?
A White House that won’t make a single phone call to free a decorated Marine in Mexico — but will trade five Taliban terrorists with American blood on their hands for a likely deserter?
Our “ambivalent-American” leadership lacks the moral foundation — let alone moral compass — to distinguish between right and wrong, good and bad, righteousness and evil.
In my “infantryman” brain — having faced Islamists in Iraq, Afghanistan and Guantanamo Bay — these comparisons just don’t compute.
Why would we definitively rule out deploying forces to fight radical Islamists but rush to deploy them to fight a virus?
Why do we retreat on the battlefield but charge full speed against the weather?
And why can’t we distinguish between valor and desertion?
These things make no sense to me, and to common-sense-led Americans everywhere.
But then I channel my “Ivy League” brain — having spent six years combined at Princeton and Harvard — and it suddenly makes sense.
I went to school with Barack Obama, John Kerry and Susan Rice. I heard the same lectures, sat in the same small groups and had the same classmates — not literally, but figuratively. President Obama and company are part of the same “educated” class, making their reaction to today’s chaotic, complicated and dangerous world painfully predictable.
A great many of President Obama’s actions and policies result in diminished American leadership and power, directly or indirectly undermining America’s stature, economy and military for decades to come.

We are governed by a ruling class of elites, who come from a small select group of universities and families. This is true of both Republicans and Democrats.

At least the Romans won a victory and some cool sea shells, which is more than we can say for Obama.

The Sultan is “fighting” ebola by conniving to bring it to America. It is Allah’s will that Infidel America be cut down and subjected to Shariah and the Caliphate which the Sultan would probably like to relocate to DC or New York.

So we send our army to stand uselessly doing work that is NOT their mission while in a disease ridden theater instead of engaging with a true savage foe.

I wish more would question, where are the priorities of liberals?
Liberals are more concerned about global warming than about threats posed by ISIS or Islamic terror.
Liberals are more concerned about homosexual marriage than the state of marriage and family in general, and how our children are raised.
Liberals are more concerned with teaching homosexuality and diversity in school, than in teaching the basics, the so-called three “R’s”.
Liberals make excuses for savage behavior among certain peoples, blaming legacies of slavery and discrimination, yet don’t expect such people to adhere to the same standards they themselves adhere to in life.
Liberals care more about saving the whales than saving children being raised in difficult circumstances.
Liberals denigrate charities such as Salvation Army, claiming they violate “separation of church and state”, because they are afraid some needy person being aided by such groups might hear a religious message of some kind.
Liberals push and push for groups such as Boy Scouts to accept homosexuality, when issues of sexuality have nothing to do with those organizations in the first place. Liberals strive to put such organizations out of business rather than let them exist with “imperfect” ideas about homosexuality or global warming or the latest liberal views of an issue.
This is all just off the top of my head. But point being, liberals thought processes are very different than yours and mine. They see the world differently. And when liberals are in positions of power, their world view controls actions they take in those positions of power. What we see with Obama is someone with a liberal worldview which controls everything he does.

Yup, and Caligula was notorious for his extravagant vacations, being out on a lake entertaining himself while he ignored critical events effecting Rome and Caligula established perversity as official Roman policy.
He bankrupted Rome and ran it into the ground and kept his political support high while doing so by stealing money from the productive and using that money to provide the idle Roman entitlement class with the free stuff EBT lifestyle of the day - free food, wine, housing and plenty of extravagant Circus events to keep ignorant masses in line.
