And AIDS is only transmitted through male homosexuals and intravenous drug users.

...a crowded, filthy hut without ready access to clean water, etc.

I saw an early documentary on Ebola. IIRC, the medical teams would be sprayed down (think heavy mist, than shower) with bleach before removing their gear.

I’ll go with MIT any day of the week over the CDC...

Saying that Ebola can’t carry though the air has always seemed ridiculous to me.

Just because it seems ridiculous to you doesn't mean that you're right. If ebola were truly airborne, we would expect to see a LOT more people with ebola.

Hey, medical schools have the bottom of the class grads too.

And, the Obamadork administration actively enlists only those folks who distinguish themselves by kissing that left tail of their chosen academic major’s class curve.

Three feet? Right. Who hasn’t traveled halfway down a deserted grocery store aisle and suddenly wondered ‘Where the hell did that fart I just walked through come from?” Try again, .Gov’ner...and put a little thought into it for a change!

The CDC hypocrits act like they would not send people to quarantine camps yet has an antigun agenda and a pro gay punitive, censoring and quarantine education agenda ascertaining that leaving the gay lifestyle hurts psychologically other gays.

The CDC is pimp enemy of the people.

And yet a SCIENTIST on Freerepublic keeps claiming that not only do you have to be within 3 feet of the person you have to be in that 3 feet for a PROLONGED time.

I say:

HOGWASH

.02:

This is all hype. If it were any more contagious, we’d either be hearing about many more people being ‘disappeared’ or it would be patently obvious by simply going to the ER and seeing the level of panic on the part of health professionals.

Focus on the election, not these distractions.

Again, .02 and IMHO.

The CDC has been lowballing, underestimating, making light of, downplaying, and dismissive of concerns regarding the ease of transmission of ebola and sensible action to contain it. It’s not that they are wrong in one area, it’s that they are wrong in all areas. People are more afraid of an inept and politicized CDC than a deadly tropical disease that should have already burned itself out in-place without western intervention under normal circumstances.

MIT shows sneezes can travel up to 20 feet and Department of Health and Human Services Assistant Secretary Dr. Nicole Lurie said in sworn testimony that Ebola can spread through perspiration left on a bus seat. CDC and obola are in major fail mode.

3 Feet in the subways of New York is 20 people or more.

How many people are '20 feet' in an airplane'?

Let’s hope nobody gets the flu and Ebola at the same time, or has allergies, or looks at a bright light too long...

Except 13% don’t get the initial fever. Imagine how many more days Dr. Spencer could have partied if he were one of the 13%.

It's a heck of a lot easier to avoid ebola in a hospital than it is if you're operating out of a crowded, filthy hut without ready access to clean water, etc.

It's even easier to avoid Ebola if you don't let it enter your country.

All bets are off on a bus, where they say you can transmit it, but you can’t catch it.

If it were any more contagious, we’d either be hearing about many more people being ‘disappeared

But one physician in Dallas said exactly that. That patients were being 'disappeared'.
