Make that two laws and one Constitutional amendment to return appointment of the senators back to the state legislatures. For California it could likely be the same outcome!!

Earlier this year, there was a report that the Obama’s had purchased a house in Asheville, North Carolina for the purpose of Michelle running for Congress from North Carolina.
If it’s done the way political offices are done in my state, Feinstein will resign in such a way that the governor will appoint Michelle to take her seat and fill out her term. She then has the advantage of running as an “incumbent” and inherits all the corruption and payoff schemes that keep Democrats in office.
We had a rich Democrat here that bought a house in every district so he could run if an incumbent ever dropped out and the seat became empty. But then he died of a heart attack—too bad for him.
