Grimes Ad: Kentucky Women to Mitch McConnell: Shame on you!
MSNBC ^ | October 26, 2014

Posted on 10/26/2014 6:44:13 PM PDT by Din Maker

In a new ad from Kentucky Senate candidate Alison Lundergan Grimes, a handful of women from the Bluegrass state stare straight into the camera and blast Republican incumbent Mitch McConnell for his shameful 30-year record on women.

“Shame on you Mitch McConnell,” an African-American woman says, arms crossed.

“You’ve turned your back on our mothers, our daughters, and me,” another woman continues.

More women lambaste the Senate minority leader for voting against the Paycheck Fairness Act and declining to vote for an expanded Violence Against Women Act in 2012: “Instead of enforcing equal pay for equal work, you called it preferential treatment” // “You’ve stood against stronger laws on domestic violence.”

With a recent Bluegrass poll released on October 20 finding the candidates in a dead heat without a gender gap in either direction, both candidates are fighting aggressively over the women vote with the little time left until the midterm election on November 4.

In an ad last week, the McConnell campaign also showed women speaking into the camera, accusing Grimes of thinking she’s got the vote just because she isn’t a man. “She thinks I’ll vote for the candidate that looks like me, rather than the one who represents me,” one woman said.

But based on his track record, McConnell positioning himself as a champion of women is a tough sell.

“How dare you claim to be pro-women,” a woman in the Grimes ad says. “Real Kentucky women know better,” another woman concludes.

Grimes on Sunday was endorsed by two of the biggest news outlets in Kentucky, The Courier-Journal and Kentucky.com. Both commended her support of women, particularly in closing the wage gap.

Looks like we have a lot of contenders for the job. LOL

Just enjoying the Democrat Love going on here tonight.
Grimes, because somebody has to be the next Hillary.

Since I believe that ANY Republican with a Pulse is better than ANY Commie Loving Tyrannical Democrat, I will sit back and enjoy the show.

Not arguing with anyone here simply because nobody’s mind will be changed. Que sara sara...

And right there, explains in perfect clarity, how it is, that we have so-called 'opposition leaders' like McCain and McConnell in perpetual power while Conservatism itself is being rendered politically and culturally irrelevant.

Because to loyalist party hacks, that Ruling Class Republicans are of themselves Commie Loving Big Government Statists, is willfully ignored, because for them - it's all about the 'game'. Principles can go to hell, because they are 'childish' and need to be left in a box under your bed when you go vote according to some here.

I just felt like all you said was worth repeating for everyone to read. - - Din Maker

No matter what problem McConnell has, he’s better than the leftist Grimes.

And that is what Conservatives were told to think for the last 26 years by the Party Loyalists, Conservatism be damned - and it has gotten us to where we are right now.

I'm done voting for the lesser of two evils.

She may be an Obama stooge, a MarxoFascist extraordinaire - but….

Grimes has not vowed to crush us wherever we are found. McConnell has.
Grimes has not threatened to punch Conservatives in the nose. McConnell has
Grimes did not work to sabotage a Conservative in MS by wrangling black democrats and engaging in racism to enable a walking corpse to win. McConnell did.
Grimes did not assert that Conservatives will not be able to field a candidate on the ballot in any state anywhere in the country. McConnell did.
Grimes did not use IRS intimidation tactics and wage a public war against a Conservative PAC. McConnell did and continues to do so.
Grimes has not stated that she would revert Senate rules in order to surrender power to the opposition should she win a majority. McConnell has.
We know what Grimes is. We know who she is.
McConnell pretends to be an opposition leader, yet behind the scenes or via stealth, empowers and enables the enemy's agenda. i.e.; McConnell promised to get rid of Obamacare “root and branch,” but just last week said he was just “fine” with Kynect, the state’s Obamacare insurance exchange.
He thinks we're idiots - KYnect would not exist if ObamaCare is repealed 'root and branch', because it was CREATED FOR ObamaCare.
To state that McConnell is better than Grimes, and that we should be shamed into voting FOR him after everything he pulled is beyond idiotic. It's insulting.
No honest Conservative votes for a liberal ruling class big-government statist simply because of the letter after their name.
Only party hacks pretending to be Conservatives do that. They are the ones who go around projecting that those who refuse to vote for the Ruling Class liberal Statist with an 'R' after their name - want liberal leftists in power.
That scare tactic and shaming technique no longer works on Conservatives who are governed by principles and not by party loyalty.

They want the liberals to win. They want liberal policies enacted - as many as possible.

The only ones ensuring liberal policies are enacted are McConnell and his ilk that you insist we continue to reward with our votes. After all these years of doing, this is where we are. Yet you yell and scream at anyone who points that out? That is aburd.

Nope. I don’t support any of the three you mentioned. I’ve been a Ronald Reagan-style Conservative since 1976; probably before you were even born. I just don’t kiss the butts of people who hate Conservatives and Tea Party people and wants to crush us.

One thing about that. We can cry and whine about the Bad Republican, but the end result is we get the Democrat. The Democrat is always worse, all the time, every time.

Don’t think that I go out of my way to support every Republican, I don’t. But the Primary is when you cull the herd, not the General. I wanted Newt in 2012, we ended up with Romney. That’s how it is with a Two Party System.

Open support of any Democrat, which is what is going on here, is beyond the pale. They would put us in Reeducation Camps if they could get away with it, including the lovely Ms. Grimes. Of that I have no doubt.

But you go right ahead with your War against the Bad Republicans. Maybe you’ll end up on the Obama “Holiday” Card list.

Oh yeah, I stand by my “Pulse” quote.

People like McConnell and his ilk declared war on conservatives. Conservatives should not vote for him.

Hey, I don’t like him either, but I hate the Democrat and everything they stand for a whole lot more.

I will not lift a finger to empower the Democrat Candidate and Party, any Democrat.

If you like Harry Reid, go ahead and help him out, I’m sure he will appreciate retaining his position as MAJORITY Leader.

It isn’t even about McConnell, he is one of many. I can count on one hand the number of reliable Conservatives in the Senate.

With this FR hate the Republican Strategy, the Senate would be 95 Rat, 5 Republican. Would that make everyone happy?

I’m not changing minds here and neither are you. Do what you think is right and I will do the same.

The Democrat is always worse, all the time, every time.

You keep telling yourself that.

It's amazing the lengths of lies some will medicate themselves with to assuage the willfully ignored fact that there is honestly no difference between "bad" Republicans and MarxoFascist Democrats. Under such "bad Republicans" government continues to grow, debt increases, liberty is diminished if not abolished, and Conservatism is marginalized and made irrelevant.

"Bad Republicans" are actually worse for liberty, because where Democrats have no power to sway, GOP Statists are able to convince and drag a larger majority of Americans to go along with tyranny, because they author, support and endorse it.

As to your citation of 'two party system' doctrine - I don't find anywhere in the Constitution that such a system was established by law. When both major parties are completely corrupted, infiltrated and run by Ruling Class Statists - we have every right to vote from outside the corruption.

McConnell and his ilk would have Conservatives in camps long before Obama and Grimes would do it. He publicly stated we need to be 'crushed', 'punched in the nose' and made irrelevant.

Continuing to vote for someone due to the letter after their name is simply practicing insanity and enabling the continuation of making Conservatism politically irrelevant.

But if you find it necessary, continue to medicate yourself with insanity.

Whatever you say...

Get back the Power and work to change the Republican Party from the inside. It might help if you can convince enough people to select the Conservative Candidate in the Primaries. You obviously didn’t, and neither did I last time around.

Like I said in my earlier Post, no minds are being changed here with us bantering back and forth. I Posted my thoughts and you Posted yours, period.

Does it make you happy the GOP is busy plotting to fund the obama agenda in the lame duck? Then insult conservatives with two years of preening fake opposition after obama cashes his check?

When you party line vote for the GOP that is what you are voting for. Obamacare, Obama IRS, etc. With another preemptive surrender Obama’s transformation of America are now planks of the GOP platform. Own it all.

Nope, it doesn’t make me “happy”, but it doesn’t matter.

You can opine all you want, but helping Democrats retain power won’t change a thing. That is the end result of your strategy.

It’s YOUR Job to get YOUR guy through the Primary Election and win the Nomination. After that, no matter who the Republican Nominee is, it’s either them or the Rat, and I don’t Vote for Rats, ever...

Again, I’m not arguing here. That’s my opinion and you have yours. No minds are being changed.

Get back the Power and work to change the Republican Party from the inside.

You make me laugh.

You just ignore what the Oligarchy did with Cochran in MS and have the audacity to lecture us that we can choose Conservatives in the primary, and if they do not win, it is 'our' fault - as if there is no corruption, fraud and intimidation whatsoever.

The shaming attempts heaped on principled Conservatives by you party hacks and loyalists for not filling in the box for a traitor to our cause is what I'm taking issue with.

You are correct however, you are not changing any minds here. But I am persuading minds outside this forum to choose principle over expedience in a little over a week.

Helping the Ruling Class Republican leadership retain power won't change a thing either. That is the end result of your strategy - a repeat of 2002-2006 with Amnesty tossed in and ObamaCare made permanent.

Don’t bother expecting an honest answer. That the entire voting process in this country has been corrupted, poisoned and rigged to benefit the Ruling Class of both parties is a reality that they willfully ignore.

Cochran in MS was as blatant fraud and corruption being orchestrated by the establishment GOP as anything the MarxoFascist Democrats have ever done.

That McConnell vowed to crush Conservatives “Everywhere” and laud the efforts to ensure Conservatives do not have a single candidate on the ballot anywhere in the nation is yet another example of cognitive dissonance displayed by those who lecture us that we must pull the lever for ‘R’s or be accused of being Obama and Reid supporters.

So YES, they demand we bend over and enjoy it and abandon principles for what they think is expedience, having no clue what time it already is.
