Whenever I tell my Texan friend I want to move to Texas from New Jersey, he tells me that the weather is terrible, eggs cost 20 bucks a dozen, and the cockroaches are the size of small dogs. Your friend is downplaying how awful it is here. It's worse than that. We have earthquakes and tornadoes simultaneously. If the gaping chasm doesn't swallow Toto, the funnel clouds will.
Did he tell gas is 9.599 a gallon too?
