Small town in Illinois here. A kid wanted to make a nice case for his dad’s S&W in shop class. His mom brought it to school and the teacher made all the proper measurements then it went home. Nobody thought of it as anything but a kid making something nice for his dad. Hmmmmm, the kid had a real mom and dad. I wonder if that made a difference?

Before we get carried away with rosy feelings about Sikhs, once should consider the fact that in Canada's west coast, Sikhs commit a disproportionate amount of crimes, much of it gang and drug related.
It's also important to consider other important facts such as Sikh terrorism:

No but there have been plenty of Sikh acts of terrorism, going back a long way. 100 years ago a sikh named Mewa Singh murdered a British officer in Canada and was hung for his crimes. Sikhs today consider him a martyr. Sikh activists are presently pressuring the government to change all their documents referring to Mewa Singh as a criminal. Like muslims, they blow up innocent people, and, also like muslms, they consider murderers to be martyrs. The guy who blew up Air India 182 is also considered a martyr by Sikhs.
Hubby refuses to be without a knife so when we used to travel a lot wherever we went he would buy a cheap knife and then trash it before we left.
Let’s stick to the ones in the US.
