When did he return from Africa? Jetlag can make you feel pretty crappy. So, he may have just thought it was that.

I dunno about this Ebola, apparently you aren't feeling too bad. You are traveling, and bowling and getting haircuts and all sorts of stuff. Then suddenly, you are not.

Sounds different from any flu I ever get. The flu hits me like a ton of bricks. One minute OK, next minute on way to death's door. I aint walking around, socializing and using public transportation in, even, the beginning stages of the flu. I am in bed, aching, fever, chills, puking...etc.

Yeah, except he was recently knee deep in ebola patients. So he should have been as conservative as possible within the self-quarantine period, not riding public transportation, bowling etc, etc... I appreciate his efforts in Africa. I don’t appreciate his lack of effort in the USA!

The last part of that: "puking...etc." sounds more like norovirus, as the GI problems are not that common in adult influenza. So does the extremely abrupt onset.
