Fox News Host Says Some Women Shouldn't Be Allowed To Vote

October 23, 2014

Fox News' Kimberly Guilfoyle believes that young single women should be excused from civic duties, they voting and jury duty.

The midterm elections are less than two weeks away and all signs point to big gains for the Republican party. With the majority of women often casting their vote for Democrats, one Fox News host has an idea for how Republicans can get around that problem.

The voting gap among women is large when it comes to whether they vote for Democrats or Republicans. In the 2012 Presidential election, female voters supported President Obama by 12 points over his Republican challenger, Mitt Romney. With the Republican party running on policies that are seen as "anti-women" to many, female voters tend to push away from the conservative view point and side more with the Democrats who are more open to progressive views.

This is really idiotic—anything gender, race, etc. is pure red meat to critics that want to blame conservatives and Republicans for this type of nonsense. Even Fox News doesn’t need this type of publicity.

On a similar note, Catholic blogger Michael Voris believes that only Catholics should be allowed to vote, and that democracies fail because they grant voting rights to "ignorant" citizens:

Pays taxes, owns property, etc., and does not receive income from the government. I would be satisfied if the franchise were restricted to those who do not get money from the government. Citizens who receive state money as welfare or contract payments or salary should not be able to vote at the state level but local and federal okay; and extrapolate from there.

Bad timing. Just as when the gender gap is about to close, FoxNews blows it.

Well, this is obvious to anyone paying attention.

I'd go a step further if you drive a mini van, have children under the age of 13, spend inordinate ammounts of time scrapbooking, watch the View or shows like it, have ever or will ever "start a business" like Gold Canyon Candles or Pampered Chef, have ever put a "Support Prop 220 or whatever number or Support Education bumper sticker on your mini van...definitely should disqualify you from voting.

And, yeah, we may a lose a good one here or there but the damage saved by these types will be incalculable.

She is just saying this to make a point. It is not some nefarious plot by conservatives to deprive anyone of the right to vote. She’s a lawyer and former prosecuting attorney.

She’s bright and nice to look at, even if she once married to a major Dem politician.

Ann Coulter famously said she’d gladly give up her right to vote if it meant that women wouldn’t be allowed to vote for a “husband replacement” in the form of government.

Good quote.

Sure, just as long as women don’t have to pay taxes. No taxes whatsoever. If you want to take away the privileges of citizenship from women, then you should have to take away the disadvantages as well.

As I understand it the way the founders set it up initially was designed for one vote per household. The man was the head of the house and he exercised the vote. Certainly his wife was involved in the decision.

I say bring back the requirement for property ownership and limit it to one vote per household.

Or ban the voter fraud. Either would work.

Exactly.

Only those employed by the private sector should be allowed to vote.

Given her enthusiastic support of such people as Romney & Christie, I would shed no tears if Ann did not vote.
