ANCHORAGE, Alaska — Sen. Mark Begich might be facing attacks from Republicans over his degree of support for President Obama's policies, but he didn't dodge Wednesday when asked whether he personally voted for Obama in 2008 and 2012.

"I did, but that's irrelevant," Begich, the Democratic incumbent from Alaska, told the Washington Examiner. "The president's not relevant. He's gone in two years."

Begich faces an existential threat from Republican Dan Sullivan in one of the pivotal Senate races this year, which could determine control of the Senate...

It doesn’t matter, because how I voted has nothing to do with how I personally act. And of course it has no bearing on whether my state and the United States is safer or not.

So just vote for me. I’m a lunk that can’t grasp what people do matters.

Just wow...

“I did, but that’s irrelevant,” Begich, the Democratic incumbent from Alaska, told the Washington Examiner. “The president’s not relevant. He’s gone in two years.”

Now that is a pathetic answer. It shows you just how shallow, immature and intellectually sloppy these people are.

They will only ever do what is expedient personally and materially and what is of course, immediately beneficial!

Some folks saw it as a historic moment.

Boy, were they ever right!

Look at our history unraveling...

Given the damage that’s been done in the last two years, two more years is an eternity.

What a boob he is! The President is gone in 2 years, but his mistakes, which you endorsed by voting for him TWICE, are with us for the forseeable future. It’s amazing that he thinks he can blow off Alaska voters with this string of emptiness. It’s like every other Democrat glibly saying, “I take full responsibility for my actions,” without actually doing anything to make that sentence true.

A follow up question that is never asked, did you read the obamacare bill before you voted for it, then pursue a whole line of questions on that issue.

You will get a whole lot of Uh, Umm, duh, hmm, “I don’t recall”!

Compared to some others, he is!

He’s willing to admit what we all already know, good on him for that.

Obama is very relevant because he will continue to destroy America for 2 more years . . .

To a Libtard, 5000 years of recorded human history means nothing now that they are here.

BO's policies and appointments will continue to damage America long beyond its eight years in office.

Jimbo Carter has been out of office for 33 years and the consequences of his misrule are still on display for all to see in Iran and neighboring countries.

LBJ has been out of office for 45 years and the consequences of his misrule are still on display in Detroit, Newark and scores of other places where the black family unit has been destroyed.

I could say even more about FDR (69 years) and Woodrow Wilson (93 years), but you get the idea . . .

Obama has abandoned every traditional Democrat/Liberal in favor of creating 50 million new Hispanic citizens in this country from those illegally here (and to come) already.

He doesn’t care - he hates this country and its values. He hates anything America. He wants it brought down to the same level of the African and Indonesian locales from which he came.
