It has more to do with the fact that Amazon is one of the few non-liberal sponsoring big businesses.
They can’t have that so their politicians are tying to bring them down. Its a corrupt yet because democrats are generally unaccountable to the press or their voters effective method of using big government to secure your friends control of the market and attack potential rivals.
