According to Merriam-Webster, the first known use of the term “racism” was in 1933, but the practice of racism was well learned by that time. In the United States, slaves were brought to this land by Europeans who thought that the skin color and customs of the African captives made them less than equal to the “civilized” White settlers. That belief system permeated the treatment of Blacks in this country for hundreds of years, and in many ways, has yet to cease. The term is defined by Merriam-Webster as, “a belief that racial differences produce an inherent superiority of a particular race.” There are some, me included, that believe that power is part of the true definition of racism – combining prejudice with the power to act on that prejudice results in racism.
Today, there are few things worse in this country than being called a “racist.” It’s one of the biggest insults and dirtiest words someone can say. Just the accusation has caused countless celebrities to produce tears and apologies and proclaim their love for their one Blackish friend who might not have known until that moment that they were the token. That fact doesn’t change the truth that there are many people who fit the definition of being racist, but because the word itself has been so maligned, people often feel that they have to do something heinous to be described that way.
The truth of the matter is, racism permeates most things done in this society, from the content of our television shows and blockbuster movies to who receives corporate promotions to the way we police our communities to where we live to who we hire to how we treat our customers to what we sell our consumers to how we educate our children....

Then, based on the theory, which car makes the best ATV, your personalcar or a rental? The rental is the obvious answer, so you worked the rented (indentured) person more than the one you “owned”. Even “paid people” were subject to “racisim” In N.O. it was the slaves tossing the cotton bails into the bottom of barges. The workers (mostly Irish) were supposed to “stack” (catch) the bails. The logic of the above seems to be omitted in revisionist racist history. Just state the facts, not the predjudices in “history”. Slavery was a horror and it did this nation no good.
While people of European descent did not invent slavery, that’s existed in every “civilized” society of which I’m aware, they did end it. Mostly.
If many black Americans believe that despite their being at the top of the crime stats. and at the bottom of the scholastic achievement charts, white racism is holding them back, then then there is no hope for them in this country.

African Ebola infected nations. He cannot seriously think that the majority of those who become infected will be living here in majority communities does he? I suppose that is the author’s picture at the source. Looking at her, I doubt she has ever suffered any sort of racism. She didn’t mention sports which has how much percentage of blacks?
Exactly. The big picture of modern day racism is the basic premise of the left...colored people are incapable of doing ANYTHING for themselves and are completely incapable of competing in the modern world. With education and morals however, that whole idea disappears.

I've never heard of Marlene Pinnock, but we all know that she's lying about Saint Trayvon and the Gentle Giant. So, what can the credibility of the rest of her article be? That's easy, zero credibility.
A racist pretty much is anyone who disagrees with a liberal.
There are also enough low-life whites who believe, or say they believe, that blacks are inferior. It is the slender reed they hold onto to make themselves feel better, since they have failed to work and achieve in life.
