White voters are more likely to say they support voter ID laws if primed with a picture of an African American voting, versus a White person voting, or no picture at all, according to a recent study.

In order to examine the way bias might play a role in support for voter ID laws, researchers with the University of Delaware’s Center for Political Communication conducted an online survey in 2012 of a nationally representative sample of 1,436 adults.

You don’t need to show me pictures of anyone. I know that no one, regardless of race, sex, age, etc. has the right to vote if they aren’t citizens or else want to vote numerous times. Nothing prejudiced about it.

Where can I buy one of those to wear when voting the next couple of days?

Jesse Jackson inadvertently admitted that he estimated it was around 15% overall.

He said this would be the “reduced voter turnout”.

Wow. What a blatant attempt at race-baiting.

Good advice. Hope GOP remembers it in future ads.

I did my own online survey and found the following

black voters are more likely to shoot a convenience store owner if shown a picture of a Korean

black voters are more likely to loot if shown a picture of a pair of shoes

black voters are more likely to riot if shown a picture of an useless EBT card

black voters are more likely to run if shown a picture of a job application

"What happens when members of the Black tribe are shown pictures of members from the White tribe voting?"

Just like good Old Joe Biden said, they know whitey is voting to take away their food stamp and put them "back in chains". Everybody knows that!

TC you are right, I too am in Texas. I’d love to get that Nelson Mandela pic printed on the back of a shirt as I early vote. Wish some one could print and ship fast to wear it when I vote.

Probably true, but so what?

There is nothing discriminatory about requiring IUD to vote.

Nothing.

What a stupid experiment.

I expect most folks just go through a simple thought process, then conclude that voting is one of the activities where anyone might attempt to cheat the process, and that requiring a photo ID - which is already required for many other basic transactions in daily life - is one good way to make cheating more difficult.

But these race baiters are using their imaginations.
