California public schools do an inadequate job of teaching students about gay and lesbian history, despite a 2011 law that requires schools to teach such lessons, according to a national panel of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender history scholars led by a Sonoma State University professor.

“Not including LGBT people in public instruction means not reflecting the reality that we live in,” he said. “It’s an omission that needs to be rectified.”

The majority of students (probably 98 percent) don’t give a damn about the history of the gay and lesbian minority at all.

They probably don’t give a damn about anything except getting enough lunch since Mooshelle’s new lunch guidelines went into effect.

May I suggest they learn to count to twenty in at least one language and be able to make change. Then they can move up to a higher level and try to identify the current VP of the USA. Hint: It ain’t Mooshelle.

Well at least they are eating less and are healthier I suppose.

Parents are - that is why so many people are homeschooling their children.
