Stunning federal corruption case moving forward with almost no media attention
The American Thinker ^ | 10-19-14 | Thomas Lifson

Corrupt federal prosecutors presenting false evidence in order to shake down a blameless corporation and bring in tens of millions of dollars seems like a pretty dramatic story. Especially when former prosecutors support the charge and a chief judge acts on the allegations and takes dramatic action. Yet the media silence is deafening.

Eric Holder’s Justice Department is implicated in a dramatic and shocking case of alleged corruption that is so bad that the Chief Judge of the Eastern District of California has taken what can rightly be called the “nuclear option” and recused all the judges in the district from the case because they may have been defrauded by the DoJ prosecutors.

So far, aside from the local paper, the Sacramento Bee, it is only Sidney Powell of the New York Observer, writing in the opinion pages of that publication that has paid attention to what should be a prominent national media scandal. In brief, the Sierra Pacific Industries, a lumber producer, was accused by the federal government of starting a large wildfire, and fined $55 million, and compelled to hand over title to 22,500 acres of land. The only problem is that the prosecution was allegedly corrupt, and knowingly submitted false evidence.

In an extraordinary development, Judge England, Chief Judge of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of California, ordered the recusal of all the Eastern District judges from the case because of serious allegations that the Court itself was defrauded by the government in the original prosecution. To avoid any appearance of partiality, he has referred the case to Ninth Circuit Chief Judge Alex Kozinski to appoint a judge from outside the Eastern District to handle the case going forward. Judge Kozinski has excoriated prosecutors for failing to meet their legal and ethical obligations.

Judge England is an excellent judge. Looks and sounds a bit like James Earl Jones. He replaced a flaming liberal in Judge Karlton, and a real son of a bitch too. Karlton showed nothing but disdain toward every lawyer and litigant who appeared in his courtroom, even those few who didn’t deserve it.

The judge has punted the case out of his district, and recused himself. Some other judge is going to have to facilitate the “whitewash.” Allow the agreement to stay in place because defendant was tardy in making the claim. That way the judge can avoid the merits, and also avoid issuing more stern words against the prosecutors.

Let’s see. What are we told about local government corruption after robberies of typical American peasants? Oh, yeah, “So what? There’s corruption everywhere.”

Another case where the congress should step in and exercize its constitutuional authority; This one requires a full investigation of Holder’s office and maybe BLM..Thanks aftr

It Is Time For The Congress To Re-establish it’s constitutional authority

While the talkies, talk radio show hosts, need to remind “US” of this.. Members of the House and Senate also seem to forget. While those selected to head various federal departments of government are recomended by the incomming POTUS (president of the United States).

Those candidates are constitutionaly required to be approved by the Senate in a procedure known as advise and consent.. Those appointed then are also sworn to uphold, protect, serve, and support the constitution. Not the executive branch. .

Such appointees can and should refuse any executive order.Or allow the executive branch create a political appointee (Czars) who over rides their congressional authority. Particularly. If and when that executive order is designed to ignore existing congressional legislation which defines a departments jurisdiction or specific purpose protecting the interests of the country . Which places the country in danger, or minimizes the value of citizenship, or places its citizens in clear and eminent danger.

Therefore they and their respective departments must be held answerable to both houses of congress which funds these operations. And, should be held in contempt, censure, and impeachment and the funds witheld if refused to comply.

There are two nations within our borders. There is The United States Of America and there is Democratland. The citizens of Democratland get their money by taking money from the citizens of The United States. The purpose of the Democrat Party is to elect thieves to office so that they have access to the public treasuries in order to loot them.

The huge "bank settlements" are election-year ATMs for the Obama administration---$12 billion for JP Morgan, another $7 billion for Citigroup and on and on. It's a real shakedown. In fact, no one even remotely knows how these penalty-payment numbers are calculated. And the federal government's disbursement of these funds is equally mysterious. As the Wall Street Journal editorial page has pointed out, a lot of money has gone to states run by Democratic governors......the $7 billion Citibank settlement contains a section explaining how $2.5 billion goes to "community reinvestment and neighborhood stabilization".......

This book exposes the me-first Holder using the Justice Dept and US agencies to profit themselves and Dummycrats.

The Obo/Holder/Dummy criminal MO: In his new book, "Extortion," author Peter Schweitzer writes about Obozo and Holder, using the Justice Dept and assorted govt agencies to extort Big Money ....threatening jailtime unless the targets fork over billions.

UPDATE---Federal Judge: Eric Holder’s DOJ Likely Defrauded Company of $55 Million, Orders Recusal of Judges
Pundit Press ^ | 10/20/14 | Aurelius / FR Posted by therightliveswithus

In 2012, Sierra Pacific Industries was ordered to pay $55 million to the United States and transfer 22,500 acres of land to the United States government after the Department of Justice launched a massive lawsuit against the company. The DOJ argued that the company was responsible for a massive fire that destroyed 65,000 acres of land in California. Since the beginning of the case, however, Sierra Pacific has insisted that the fire started elsewhere and that the Department of Justice was being deceitful in their prosecution.

Now, new evidence showing an outrageous miscarriage of justice has emerged, including the DOJ's interest in gaining large "revenue" from a "deep pocket:" large companies. In other words, the basis of the lawsuit was not justice, but rather making money for the government.

In a stunning turn of events, Judge Morrison C. England Jr. agrees that the appearance impropriety occurred. He has taken a second look at the case and ordered the recusal of every single federal judge in the Eastern District of California.

He wrote in his ruling, "Based upon facts alleged in the Motion and accompanying Declarations and Exhibits, the impartiality of the District and Magistrate Judges in the Eastern District might reasonably be questioned... Accordingly, all District and Magistrate Judges in the Eastern District of California are RECUSED from hearing case number 2:09-cv-02445 and all related matters." Judge England has referred the case to Ninth Circuit Chief Judge Alex Kozinski. (Excerpt) Read more at thepunditpress.com ...

Yet the media silence is deafening.

New York Times was doing more buyouts recently. They're light on people... News Business isn't a 1940's Hollywood movie... it's contacts and who's in your black book...

My guess is dem handlers... oops, I mean 'contacts' aren't feeding the press this story for obvious reasons.
