Health officials in Ohio are monitoring more than 100 people following the visit by a Dallas nurse who tested positive for Ebola shortly after returning to Texas from the Cleveland area.
Officials stressed Saturday that none of those being monitored are sick.
State officials had announced on Friday that 16 people Amber Vinson had contact with were being monitored.
Officials say the sharp increase is a result of the identification of airline passengers who flew with Vinson between Dallas and Cleveland and the identification of people who also visited the dress shop where her bridesmaids were trying on dresses.
Vinson's stepfather remains quarantined in his home in the Akron suburb of Tallmadge - where Vinson stayed during her trip - and is the only person in the state under such restrictions.

If you did something like this in the private sector you would be fired immediately, and probably wouldn’t be finding work any time soon in that field. Or ever. Frieden should be fired, Obama should be impeached. GOP should win November handily, super majority.
But people are stupid, so we’ll probably get democrat majority, and more infected. In ten months the US could look very much like West Africa is now. It has been a steady 6 year downward spiral, I expect more bad news daily.
If any liberals I know catch Ebola, I’ll straight up tell them. You got what you voted for. That’s all I will say, even if they beg me for help.

can you imagine how the media would have reported on this if it happened 8 years ago? Just look at their Katrina reporting. Bush had no control over the weather and yet he was torn apart by the media. Obama had the power to prevent this but he failed to do so and all the press can do is minimize the event and tell the American people that there’s nothing to be concerned about. BULLSHIT!
Obola will make sure that Ebola patients pop up as far and wide as possible. Note how somebody is vomiting and dying on an airplane just about every day, on a plane arriving in a different U.S. city each time. He will round up healthy people “for their own good,” and put them in facilities where some people will JUST HAPPEN to turn out to have Ebola.
If tanks showed up surrounding the White House tomorrow, and Obola were arrested, and if the government were taken over by the Chiefs of Joint, and the borders were closed, and flights from Ebola countries were stopped, and the deportation of illegals and Muslims started, I would breathe a huge sigh of relief, and REJOICE.
The question is: Is our military prepared to stop Obola BEFORE he kills 250 million of us?
It’s time for the militia groups to take care of this mess we’re in. Our PAID FOR government is negligent. The people’s republic needs to stand up and get LOUD and active before it’s too late. We CANNOT endure TWO MORE YEARS of this crap.
The biggest question I have is WHY would a nurse who’d had contact with an Ebola patient and who’s colleague came down with the disease after having the same contact with the patient as the nurse did AND who’s beginning to show symptoms of Ebola herself do anything but get treatment for herself? The foremost thought in her mind is getting her wedding dress?
The United States government is dysfunctional, bankrupt and almost completely corrupted. There is no saving it. The best solution is for states to leave the Union to preserve their people and institutions. It has now become a matter of life and death.
