DENVER (AP) — The president of Frontier Airlines says a nurse who was on flights between Dallas and Cleveland and who later tested positive for Ebola may have been at a more advanced stage of the illness than previously thought.

read the time-line on Duncan at UT Presby

http://thegrio.com/2014/10/11/ebola-in-america/

The hospital went into complete quarantine alert on Oct 2 when his tested positive .
Everyone who treated him or was currently treating him where told to take extreme precautions and by Oct 2 the county was doing a quarantine of 21 days.

The hospital CON , Directors,Managers, and Medical Directors were on high alert.
No one who worked in the isolation unit was allowed by the Hospital Medical Directors to fly 700 miles away to buy a dress!
they were told to stay close and to call in. In fact, I think the hospital staff were calling in sick due to panic within days so staff were on call ! So Amber does not call her own supervisors for an the okay to travel but places a call to the CDC!
The CDC has no authority over hospital operations or staff travel quarantines but her Medical Director does !

Did the Hospital Medical staff okay her to travel the day Duncan died on life support !

She needs a lawyer if someone gets sick because of her reckless actions.

IF Thomas Duncan knew he had been exposed to Ebola and came to this country anyway..it doesn’t change the fact that Vinson could be sued

Thus Billy Martin.

She now has one of the top lawyers in the country.

And she is going to need it.

She better hope not one single person on her flight or those who visited that dress shop, etc get Ebola.

I’ve read so much contradictory crap about this whole mess, my head is spinning. I don’t know who or what to believe anymore. So regarding the nurses and anyone else who is infected thanks to the evil thug in the White House, I’m going to just say a prayer that the Lord will deliver them from death...and that He will save us all as well.

From everything I have seen and heard, that is the most logical explanation.

Rummy girl knows an RN working at a large teaching hospital DOES NOT call the CDC for any reason

The CDC has no authority or control over hospital staff.

That RN trained and worked as a isolation RN which is a very serious position. You know the rules of QUARANTINE due to JCAHO certification .
its a Very stressful job but pays well.
A RN in those position contact there supervisors and the hospital Medical Director !
The CDC does not okay her to travel only her Hospital Medical Directors would sign off on that idea.
Do you think anyone working at that unit would be okayed to fly 700 miles to buy a dress when there patient was on life support and kidney failure.
All these RNs were ON Call and told to stay close in case they were infected.

I’m just saying, he was ALLOWED TO ENTER the US and screened based on an incomprehensibly incompetent set of guidelines.

Measuring temperature is no guarantee. A blood test yes - pass the test ok. but we don’t have that, thus the only answer is a travel ban. By not immediately implementing a travel ban, the president has become complicit and to continue to reject the obvious he has now demonstrated a willingness to bring this hemorrhagic (turning your body into a bloody soup) disease to the American people. That’s warfare.

The nurse is one of the first victims of his war against us. There will be many more. Mark my words.

(apologize for swearing)

But I have always wondered why so much publicity was given to Ms. Pham’s transfer from Dallas to Baltimore while Ms. Vinson’s condition is clouded in secrecy.

Speaking of secrecy, it's interesting how little the public is received in meaningful follow-up on Nina Pham's boyfriend and Amber Vinson's fiancé. Both were said to be quarantined and under observation. One of the Brit news sources ran an article two days ago which suggested that Pham's boyfriend had been hospitalized.

Americans aren't really thinking much about Ebola as a sexually-transmitted disease yet. Once that realization sinks in, the administration will be battening down the hatches in earnest.

You know how hospitals operate and the chain of command in almost all hospitals.

UT Presby is a large teaching hospital in Dallas.
They have protocols for everything.

People are being misinformed in thinking the CDC overseas all hospital operations and Staff call there for guidance. They DO NOT have any control over hospital staff !

What nonsense.

Amber jumped on a crowded plane 8 days after Duncan's shocking diagnosis and on the day he died on life support on her isolation unit.
I have been traveling in and out of Dallas.
People were wearing surgical masks on Oct 1 and by Oct 6 i saw folks
wearing gloves in love field.
She is still wondering about exposure and travel?

I want to hear what her Manager and the Hospital Medical Director of the Unit said to her request !

That maybe the reason she hired a lawyer.

Nina was known to be sick before Amber flew home. Amber did have symptoms of Ebola:

http://www.cnn.com/2014/10/16/us/amber-vinson/
But a federal official with direct knowledge of the case told CNN's Elizabeth Cohen that Vinson said she felt fatigue, muscle ache and malaise while she was in Ohio and on the flight home. The prospect that she might have felt sick during her time there has led health authorities to reach out to more people, from those on her initial Dallas-to-Cleveland flight to those she interacted with in Ohio.

.
Perhaps they should be told first that kissing can also spread the disease.

One step at the time in the education process.

I don’t know if you’ve seen this, but evidently her symptoms go back further than originally calculated:

‘CDC officials said Thursday they are looking into a new timeline for Vinson’s symptoms, with the possibility that she was exhibiting symptoms for days before she sought medical attention.

“[We have] started to look at the possibility that she had symptoms going back as far as Saturday ... which has to do with the bridal shop. But some more information that’s come through recently, we can’t rule out that she might have had the start of her illness Friday,” Dr. Chris Braden of the CDC said. “We need to back now to the flight on [Oct.] 10th to give our investigation the right context.”’
