I searched and all I could find is that she DID call the CDC.

The family admitted she didn’t call the CDC.

Keep up with the story instead of posting information that is not true in order to pump up Amber.

Of course the CDC dropped the ball and continues to drop the ball.

That doesn’t excuse what Amber did. For god’s sake, if you are going to use temperature as a gauge you think you might want to disclose you are taking Tylenol????

Wow. You must know something that most of us don’t.

But I have always wondered why so much publicity was given to Ms. Pham’s transfer from Dallas to Baltimore while Ms. Vinson’s condition is clouded in secrecy.

“Keep up with the story instead of posting information that is not true in order to pump up Amber.”

Reference please — as I said, my Google News search didn’t turn up anything about her NOT having called the CDC, just the opposite.

Nurse Nina is what you would hope for in a nurse.

I wish her well.

Amber.......her estate should get sued to get the details of what really went on when she went on a Bridezilla jaunt exposing hundreds of people and costing what will turn out to be millions of dollars.

You are terrible at searching.

“Mr Vinson said that 29-year-old Amber didn’t contact the CDC, despite reports from the agency that she had, because she was not told to. He added that she had followed the guidelines of self-monitoring her temperature.”

Bullshit. She should never have had to worry about it in the first place. Obama let the biological weapon in! She a victim of his open warfare against the US.

Now that you mentioned the uncle, I did find the article, but the basic info is that TO THE UNCLE’S KNOWLEDGE she didn’t call the CDC, NOT that she specifically told him that she didn’t. BIG difference. Just because the uncle wasn’t aware of it, that doesn’t mean she didn’t call — even the CDC admitted and stated that she did call them.

This just demonstrates, as I said earlier, is that the CDC and the government is trying very hard to scapegoat the nurses, to avoid responsibility for their horrible handing of the entire situation. And it seems people are so gullible that they fall for this, sadly.

For goodness sake, this is the airline company saying why he went back to previous flights with Amber on it due to CDC throwing her under the freaking base.
But dear freepers what ever floats your boat. I understand you guys have a burning need to malign her character and get all riled up ... This is nothing.
Someone should require you and anyone commenting to actually read the articles and test on them before you post.

There is more info out there. You aren’t doing very good reasearch. She did not call the CDC. She called someone else who called the CDC.

Do more research.

She shouldn’t be a nurse if she couldn’t figure out that she might have Ebola.

She treated a patient with Ebola who died.
Another nurse had Ebola.
She had a fever and:

“But a federal official with direct knowledge of the case told CNN’s Elizabeth Cohen that Vinson said she felt fatigue, muscle ache and malaise while she was in Ohio and on the flight home. The prospect that she might have felt sick during her time there has led health authorities to reach out to more people, from those on her initial Dallas-to-Cleveland flight to those she interacted with in Ohio.”

But yet, she couldn’t figure out she was risking others lives by getting on that plane?

She should have her license revoked.

Seems the caveat to the whole ‘did she or didn’t she call the CDC’ is that was stated on another thread, that she contacted someone she was given a number for who in turned contacted the CDC. Whichever, the end result is the same and this lady is facing something that should have never been allowed to happen, imho.

Somehow the whole ‘bridezilla’ manta gets rummy charged up, maybe she DOES know something about this that the rest of us haven’t been privy to as of yet. s/

So, why in the hell, is the president of the airlines telling us this and not the CDC?

Then all hell can break loose.

To fly or not to fly?

Want to fly on an international or domestic airline? Let me ask a few questions.

Would you fly on the Frontier plane that took the Ebola nurse fro Dallas to Cleveland?
It has been stated the the plane had been scrubbed nine times. And now, the carpets and seat materials are going to be replaced.
Great, but shouldn’t the plane been grounded for 21 days?

Would you go on a flight that has passengers from west Africa?

Would you sit next to a passenger that is from west Africa?

How could you find out if a passenger is from Africa? Ask?

If you were to fly on an international fight would you wear gloves and a mask?

What would you do if the airline attendants were wearing protective gear?

Up, Up, and away!
