Ammunition has been pulled from the shelves of two Walmarts in Ferguson amid violent clashes over the police shooting of Michael Brown.
Employees were ordered to lock all bullets in a store cupboard on Monday after demonstrators stormed one of the stores and formed a barricade outside another.
Bosses in Ferguson and nearby Maplewood revealed they took the precaution in fear of looting and violence as racial divides in the Missouri city show no sign of resolve.
It is the first time Walmart has taken such action since the Sandy Hook massacre in 2012, when assault rifles were removed from shelves in Connecticut.
Addressing Ferguson, Walmart spokesman Brian Nick told KMOV-TV: 'If there is a history of violence and looting and other activity that are going on or things that are putting associates and customers at risk - then yes, decisions can be made based on those circumstances.'
Customers who wish to buy bullets will have to discuss their intended purchase with a sales assistant, he said....

I think you’re exactly right- leaked early to give the town time to begin to realize the FACTS do NOT meet their fantasy of what occurred.
I pity any decent people of any race in that town cause it’s going to be ugly.

Trayvon I got the RAT base worked-up for the 2012 election, and indications are the RATS are going to need their dead to vote at least twice if they are to have any hope of success in November.
I wouldn’t be at all surprised if things in Ferguson calmed down significantly shortly after November 4.

That is the definition of a banana republic.
Why? The narrative since I was a teen in the sixties was that blacks were perpetual victims of vicious, white racists. Even back then all black problems were blamed on whites. The narrative has never changed.
But the Klan doesn't ride around anymore wearing hoods, burning black churches or lynching blacks. Instead now we have a black Klan that terrorizes cities across the country. They don't wear hoods...they wear hoodies. There are so few instances of whites assaulting blacks that to keep the narrative going, black and white race vultures have to seize on any instance they can of whites doing nasty things to blacks. Even if they have to make it up.
I have a tinfoil hat theory about this case. The grand jury declines to indict because it's obvious that Wilson acted in self-defense while in fear for his life. This is not announced until the day before the election. The resulting rioting and mayhem nationwide will suppress the white vote in urban areas throwing the election to the 'rats. At least enough to keep the Senate. Keep in mind that pretty much everybody in the St. Louis area, (governor, prosecutor, etc.) is a 'rat so it would be a perfect opportunity. Crazy? Maybe, but it would be a great movie plot.
