Barack Hussein Obama gave an interview just days ago with the French television channel Canal+. In that interview, Obama echoed the words of his former DHS advisor Mohamed Elibiary when he said that Americans should be better educated about Islam, noting that the US could and should be regarded as a Muslim county. Obama called the US “one of the biggest Muslim nations.”
Though Obama’s claims were completely false, seeing that the US has only 4.5 million professing Muslims (1.5% of the population), it is nonetheless an Alinsky tactic to make power seem bigger than it actually is.

I like to ask a follow up question. Okay, assuming what you said is true Mr Obama, is it also a Christian country? I love to hear his response.
It's the same tactic the left successfully used with homosexuals (which interestingly enough also make up about 1.5% of the population). However, a poll done a year or so ago says that the average American thinks the number is closer to 15%-20% due to the "Alinsky" tactic of making it seem like there is far more than there actually are.

I am not a muslim, I am a Christian and there are many more of us than he would like there to be. I am not going away. I will not be silenced by name calling tactics and there are many more like me.

Yes, but I suspect the Sodomite population in the Media and Newsrooms is probably closer to the 40% range. Thus the skewed perception of the prevalence of this particular pestilence.
What really matters is was Bill Maher (of all people) has pointed out: How many "non-radicals" support the actions of the radicals? Maher has cited studies that say it's around 80%.

One fact that can’t be refuted is that the majority of voters in the United States of America said, via their votes, that they wanted a muslim to lead them. Twice in concession.
According to wikipedia, Muslims represent 0.8% of the US population. There are 2.6 million Muslims in America, making America the 55th most Muslim country. Only 1 out of every 624 Muslims in the world is American
