As always the answer from the Democrats is that the bureaucracy isn’t big enough and doesn’t have enough money. And his answer to why we dont ban travel is that if we dont stop letting 150 in per day freely, one might try to sneak in via a banana boat in Boston Harbor.

I’m convinced that the CDC can not find their collective asses with both hands and a flashlight.

This may have been posted, but I found it interesting that the witness in Texas (a doctor) is appearing by teleconference. Perhaps he didn’t want to fly?

He is the doctor who has been speaking at various press conferences with the Dallas mayor and that Judge Jenkins.

Steve Scalise (R-Louisiana) asked Frieden directly, at least half a dozen times, if he’d discussed with the WH a travel ban. Frieden was rattled. Would not answer the question. Uh-uh-ummm-uh...we will consider all options... uh-uh-uh-er...can’t speak for the WH... Pathetic weasel. But, he did his job, albeit in painful transparency— protecting the WH.
