One thing is for certain — ‘why’ doesn’t even matter. A high crime and misdemeanor does not need to demonstrate motive. And the only ‘proof’ required is abject, unpardonable failure to do one’s sworn duty. The RNC should go through the motions — impeach in House and patriotic senators petition for an impeachment trial on the same day.

Public record is all that is required at this point.

All persons entering the patient room should wear at least:

* Gown (fluid resistant or impermeable)
* Eye protection (goggles or face shield)

As I read the news, Dallas Presbyterian hospital was exceeding the CDC recommendations. (Considering the risk involved, these recommendations seem woefully inadequate. I have trouble believing that "Baghdad Tom" ever read what was on his own website.)
Health care workers, particularly nurses, seem to be at highest risk for contracting the disease.
Great post. Unfortunately, yesterday Mitch McConnell said that "we should do whatever the CDC recommends," when asked about stopping flights out of West Africa.
Boehner said that the president should "strongly consider" stopping flights from West Africa.
The GOPe is almost as bad as the Democrap/Communist Party.
I am equally interested in the reasoning behind his assertion that banning commercial flights in and out of the hot zones would somehow make containing the virus more difficult.

The purpose of the “Bring Out Your Dead” ping list (formerly the “Ebola” ping list) is very early warning of emerging pandemics, as such it has a high false positive rate.
So far the false positive rate is 100%.
At some point we may well have a high mortality pandemic, and likely as not the “Bring Out Your Dead” threads will miss the beginning entirely.

The C-Span streaming is very spotty and jerky, at least for me. FNC is airing it for now but you know they will cut away from it if it gets boring!
