The day begins as we converge in North Texas to once again celebrate the life of Texas Cowboy in the fashion he would want us to have fun together.

Buckeyetexan got a good shot of the guitar jamboree. I saw that shot. I'll have to pull out my old six string and get my chops back so I can jam with them at next year's Shoot.

I’ve been to Hotwells.. out 290.
It didn’t make a bad impression, nor did it particularly stand out.
I wasn’t really giving it much critical thought.
So I guess I really have no point other than “been there”.

Never understood them habenero folks. No flavor all pain. My guts can't handle that level of heat any more, but I used to love habaneros. Grew them for a little while. The trick is to let them ripen to a dark red. They loose some of their heat, and you can enjoy the flavor more.

They even specialize in hosting large parties and special gatherings.
Which is perfect for our group.

I also got video! But pen said something about throwing me in the Trinity and using me for target practice if I uploaded it anywhere. ;)
The video haz a funny though. Right in the middle, NYTexan refills my margarita. Greatness.
