Reparations will amount to a transfer of wealth from the more powerful to the more powerless. This is the closest approximation of justice that I would imagine is possible.
We will now engage in some purposely simplified back-of-the-envelope math. Imagine a nationwide, one-time infusion of wealth to those who live at the lower end of America's economic pyramid. Let's take as our starting point that Black households have roughly 60% of the income and 5% of the wealth that White households do. (Hispanic households have just a tiny bit more wealth than Black households. Median household net worth is about $81,000. Average household net worth, which is swelled by the fortunes at the top, is $535,000.) For the sake of argument, let's be exceedingly modest in our goals: let's imagine giving an amount of money that would give the average Black household at least more than half of the wealth of the average White household. We can calculate this very neatly: if Black households have 5% of White net worth now, let's add 50% to that, giving the average Black household 55% the net worth of the average White household, which is something north of $110,000. Sticking with our neat, clean, and modest estimate here, let's round half of that down to $50,000.
Fifty thousand dollars per household. This would be enough in theory to raise the average Black household to at least half of what the average White household has in wealth....

When I worked for a government agency, we wanted to plug some of the holes where money was being siphoned off by the legal system and we knew how to do it too. Stunningly, the word came from the capitol that it wasn’t concerned about that and we should spend our time on other things.

The reason they give for wanting what we own is because they claim we once owned slaves?

But didn’t only the very wealthy own slaves, and their wealth was tied up in those same slaves? I think so.
Wait...Didn’t those wealthy whites free all of those slaves? 60% would be 6 out of 10 that should have been freed.

Yep, probably is. One need only to take a look at the Dave Chappelle episode about reparations that shows what the beneficial economic and sociological impact would be.
My people paid the price wearing Union Blue—One fell at Gettysburg, the other at Petersburg, another in a Rebel Prison Camp. They were not just soldiers who volunteered—they were abolistist too—They fought for freedom, died with black troops at the Crater. They didn’t fight for gold—they fought for freedom of the black man—because slavery was evil. As for me—I have no guilt, My people paid for any injustice. No to Reparations! I don’t believe Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. would want Reparations.

More recent was Anthrax in tandem with 9/11. Then, Ebola and ISIS. AIDS also was majorly publicized, I hear, in the 1980s, when there was Iraq-Iran war and the Soviets in Afghanistan. They are and were real, no doubt, maybe completely coincidence and unrelated, but somehow interesting in reflection.
Please explain to me why people 4 generations away from slavery are due reparations. Maybe they should all move to Liberia for a while for some perspective.
A scary thought.
Giving large sums of money to people with ghetto attitudes and outlooks on life will probably not turn their lives around. Its more likely they will spend it foolishly and be broke eventually.

We will see a large number of them murdered for their newfound “wealth” ,, many of them will develop liver problems or die from overdoses ... no matter what it won’t end the demands ,, once they get a taste they’ll be back for round 2.
