The Hill ^

Posted on 10/15/2014 5:36:36 PM PDT by ObamahatesPACoal

Republican candidates are not trotting out Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) in the midterm election campaign, despite his status as one of the party’s rising stars.

While Cruz is a hero to many conservatives, some candidates are leery of appearing with him because he is a polarizing figure who could turn off independents and centrist Republicans.

Rand and Rubio don’t appeal to moderate voters who oppose their open border extremism.

The average voter is closer to Steve King than Obama on immigration especially the policies they propose.

How do you say “Balderdash” in Cuban?

Cruz did a good job attacking Shaheen on amnesty but not campaigning with Brown. Instead campaigned with Garcia.

Also Tillis is terrible. Tillis (NC) and Rick Scott(FL Gov) are risking losing states Romney carried or tied with mid term turnout.

As long as the new Senators caucus with him, it’ll be all good.

but these Republicans have no problem turning off Conservatives by appealing to leftwing Colin Powell Republicans who vote for Obama.

Perhaps it is not Republicans staying away from Cruz, but Cruz staying away from them!

Democrat: “We need a LOT of spin on this story- give it to ‘The Hill’.”

If you can wade through the obvious BS that they start the article with, it actually shows Cruz’s large positive influence.

Another example of BAD PROPAGANDA by minor league propagandist and queer Andrew Bolton.

Goebbels would bitch slap him if he was still around.

Rand Paul and Marco Rubio appeal to the media, not to conservatives. Rand Paul and Marco Rubio are the new John McCains.

It’s why he’ll never be nominated by the GOP. And before you say “Conservatives will rally around him ...” there aren’t enough. Once you get out of local elections, pretty much anything bigger than House (some exceptions to be sure) we, the Tea Party, don’t have the numbers. Now I fully disclose, as I have said before, that I do not like Ted Cruz for any number of reasons (but would vote for him as nominee) and don’t support him as the nominee (nor do I support Jeb Bush and his ilk who I would NOT vote for as POTUS). However, it is indeed a fact that he does not have National appeal.

Another example of "Do as I say, but not as I Do" practiced by the GOP-E.

And the GOP-E was saying the exact same thing about Reagan after the GOP-E had controlled the party for 40 years+.

This is just another Cruz hit piece, planted by the Hill to push their liberal agenda.
