The plane that transported an Ebola-infected nurse from Cleveland to Dallas was cleaned and put back into service the next day, according to Frontier Airlines.
The plane has flown to at least one other U.S. city after being cleaned in Dallas, according to the airline, which confirmed it was cleaned again in Cleveland on Tuesday.
The plane that transported Vinson was cleaned after her flight and then put back into service the next day, according to Frontier Airlines. The airline stressed that the flight was the last of the day and that the plane was cleaned "within CDC guidelines" after Vinson's flight.
Frontier Airlines has not confirmed what other cities the plane was flown to besides Cleveland, where the plane was cleaned again on Tuesday.
Cleveland Hopkins International Airport Director Ricky Smith said that since this morning, the Frontier Airlines aircraft has been decontaminated twice at a remote location at the airport. It was scheduled for a flight to Denver today, Smith said.

It means the flight attendant comes through and collects the empty pretzel packets and drink cups before you disembark. That should be sufficient. No need to get all freaky about it......riiiight?

I saw a plane being swabbed down pretty thoroughly with alcohol wipes on FOX. Maybe it was the only one, though. Looked pretty labor intensive.

Are you sure the ban was in effect? Cleveland news is going nuts covering this, and they don't have a straight answer. The CDC has said she should not have been on a plane, but they didn't say if a ban was in effect at that time.
Frontier Airlines have a distinctive and unique animal theme on each of their aircraft. Freddy the Fox, etc.
Given that there are some very smart aviation Freepers on here, I’m hoping they can identify the aircraft and then specific animal theme.
My guess is Frontier will have to repaint the aircraft, lest it be known as the Ebola jet.
Pretty sure alcohol wipes are not going to get it done, needs to be a bleach solution.

That plane should be taken out of service and burned in a pit full of napalm and magnesium. I wouldn’t knowingly take a ride on it if they stripped it to bare metal and heated it up to 1,000 degrees. Fook that!

I didn’t do the research, so I don’t know (cut and paste).
However, I wouldn’t be taking any Frontier Airlines flights in the near future, even if it meant walking to Cleveland or wherever.
This thing is about to go viral (uh, no pun intended...but it gives you a real clear indication of the origin of the phrase). I wouldn’t be surprised to see 100 cases by the end of the month.
Assuming she didn’t teleport from Dallas to Cleveland...aren’t there two planes in need of cleaning?

The same plane used on Flight 1143 was used on an October 14 flight from Cleveland to Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport. The plane with tail number N22OFR later returned to Cleveland that afternoon before heading on a route from Cleveland to Atlanta and then back.

6. Do whatever you can to get an aisle seat and lean away from your neighbor.
7. Don't touch ANYTHING in the seat back.
8. If your travel permits, always take a first flight in the morning. Hopefully an aircraft that RON'd at the airport.
And these were my rules BEFORE the Ebola mess!
Same precautions here, I wear only cotton clothing as it has a higher combustion temp and might give me a few more seconds in case of fire. Plus, synthetic materials stick to your skin when they melt.
I am supposed to travel to PHL for one day meeting with overnights before and after...our Work group is considering calling off this meeting just because of the potential issues with Ebola.
PHL is a hub for EU flights...like Brussels, Amsterdam etc. Who knows what sort of stuff is going on in planes right now...
