CDC Demands 132 Passengers That Flew With 2nd Ebola Patient Report For Testing

But, but, but they said it wasn't contagious unless you came into contact with bodily fluids. According to the CDC, the 2nd health-care worker infected with Ebola traveled on Frontier Flight 1143 from Cleveland to Dallas on October 13th and are asking all 132 passengers on the flight to get tested. One question... what about the thousands of people that those 132 passengers came in contact with in the last 2 days?

Via Bloomberg,

Second health-care worker with Ebola traveled on Frontier flight 1143 from Cleveland to Dallas on Oct. 13, CDC says in e-mailed statement.

CDC asking 132 passengers on flight to call 1-800-CDC-INFO, plan to begin interviewing passengers about flight, monitoring those who need it

Health-care worker exhibited no signs, symptoms of illness while on flight, according to crew

Frontier Airlines Statement

“At approximately 1:00 a.m. MT on October 15, Frontier was notified by the CDC that a customer traveling on Frontier Airlines flight 1143 Cleveland to Dallas/Fort Worth on Oct. 13 has since tested positive for the Ebola virus. The flight landed in Dallas/Fort Worth at 8:16 p.m. local and remained overnight at the airport having completed its flying for the day at which point the aircraft received a thorough cleaning per our normal procedures which is consistent with CDC guidelines prior to returning to service the next day. It was also cleaned again in Cleveland last night. Previously the customer had traveled from Dallas Fort Worth to Cleveland on Frontier flight 1142 on October 10.

Customer exhibited no symptoms or sign of illness while on flight 1143, according to the crew. Frontier responded immediately upon notification from the CDC by removing the aircraft from service and is working closely with CDC to identify and contact customers who may traveled on flight 1143.

Customers who may have traveled on either flight should contact CDC at 1 800 CDC-INFO.

The safety and security of our customers and employees is our primary concern. Frontier will continue to work closely with CDC and other governmental agencies to ensure proper protocols and procedures are being followed.”

Ebola has been loosed on America as its punishment for being the best in the world . . . ever.

Simple solution: Ban flights from the 3 African countries. Problem solved.

Why? They didn’t contact her bodily fluids, and she didn’t have a fever when on the flight, so why should the other passengers be monitored?

If nothing else, one could theoretically come into contact with bodily fluids in the bathroom on the plane. Although I would think the risk from a woman would be quite a bit lower lower that from a man. And there's also the possibility of aerosolized coughing, sneezing, etc.

If ebola was as ‘safe’ as they say, no one in Africa would have ever caught it.

There’s protective gear and then there’s Level 4 protective gear.

Just think: All of this crap now going on could have been AVOIDED if West Africans were forbidden from flying to the USA including patient Duncan.

Obola says it all.

What about all those she came in contact with on her
way TO Cleveland?

I note they mentioned the second flight but didn’t
give a flight number...

“If you are within a 5 mile radius, it will teleport into your bloodstream.”

That is very disturbing information. Does that mean that if she did take her temperature while in flight and discover she had a fever, we would have to contact everyone along the flight path?

Interesting point. If this health care worker was truly contagious, would have been in contact with potentially thousands of people in the gate areas, restrooms, airport vendors, public transportation, and so on. In fact, more likely to have infected some other people with direct contact than those who were on the plane.

You see, there’s no problem with flights from nations with large outbreaks of Ebola. Only a racist could see a problem here.

Imagine the convenience it would be to one of those nation’s passport holders. (As if this isn’t a massive inconvenience for all the other passengers, as well as a death threat to boot)

a teleporting virus

I seem to remember a Star Trek episode where the teleporter beamed up a machine that shot out a virus that, with the help of sweaty palm transmission, put affected crew members into a drunken state, and made Spock an emotional wreck.

If only we could be Jim-Beamed like that at this present time.

Yep, we got a radical Muslim as President who has declared war on this country, I’ve been saying that since 2009 and I’m constantly proven right. When is Congress going to wake up to that fact or are they complicit in this? I find that hard to believe as they are messing up their own lives as well, so what exactly is going on? How long are they going to allow this to go on?

If two nurses got it after wearing protective gear then I would say that bug is pretty damn contagious

A face shield that is not sealed and won't stop floating droplets? Not to mention taking off the gear after being sloshed with bodily fluids.

There wee 48 passengers going into Nigeria, 46 did not get infected. The infected passenger was late stage and vomited blood in his seat and died that night. The woman next to him was infected and died along with some flight attendants (who didn't know what it was when they cleaned it up).

In another case, Duncan had diarrhea the night before he went to the hospital. His "stepdaughter" said she disinfected the apartment and apparently that was adequate.

I would be much more worried about the known immigrants from Ebola Land (150 a day) streaming into the country. More Americans will die thanks to that policy.

The CDC is monitoring everything... That’s why they allowed a healthcare worker who assisted a man dying from Ebola to fly on a plane... Seriously! The CDC head is obviously in over his head, just like his boss.... It’s time to step aside and allow somebody who has half a clue to take over.

Tennessee Nana has a great question.

How did she get to Cleveland.

If she flew, what by what airline and what flight #.

The best at what? Abortions? The best at gay marriage? The best at divorce? The best at protecting children? I could go on . . .

We have been the best at good things, too. But the balance of good versus evil shifted at some point. :(
