Well said.

My husband is a farmer - very matter of fact about animals. The only reason we don’t have livestock is because I named what he had when we got married.

Her dog is of more worth to me than the illegals stealing OUR medical care and certainly of much more worth than the man who is letting the illegals come here to kill us.

I guess the only way to rile up the drones in this country,if they have to put the dog down. The poor dog doesn’t know happening to it. Golf, anyone?

I am not able to check right now. Does ebola infect dogs and mammals or are the carriers?

If anything is going to wake up liberals, and that’s asking a lot, it will be a very public euthanasia of the dog. Libs care nothing about human life as demonstrated by their love of abortion and “death with dignity.” But a dog just might have liberals wake up.

In Africa animals get the virus by eating other animals that died from it, surely that is not the virus load this dog may have received.

Furthermore the dog can be tested after he is kept in quarantine to show whether or not he develops the virus.
If he does then he can be euthanized.

Spain simply killed the dog and burned it.

And just how long is the quarantine? If dogs are carriers, then a 21 day quarantine may not be long enough. Might need even a 6 month quarantine

I would think they would have to do periodic PCR testing on the dog and monitor it that way.

I don’t think even the vet schools are set up for level 4
quarantines.. This whole thing needs to be done by CDC.

Hopefully the dog is not at the animal shelter in town. Hopefully, it’s not at someone’s house, where it could ‘get loose’ and never be found.

I thought it was another cop shooting dog joke. They are constant.

If it wasn’t-—my apologies.

This is perfect microcosm of two immigrant waves. Vietnamese generally arrived with nothing but the clothes on their backs. They worked, saved, open businesses, ignored racist and bitter attitudes in the post war era. And now they are solid members of our society at every level, in business, medicine, and in numerous small enterprises. They hated and avoided handouts.

Then there is the African immigrant.

In this case they collided and each has performed as could be predicted. One worked hard, and did her very best. The other lied, and brought forth disease and suffering.

I am a cop. I was commenting on the fact that so many people around here constantly grips about police/dog shooting incidents and it drives my batty. I think we may be on the same side on this one. Haha...

“Didn’t realize there was a link to article with more info.”

No problem, at first glance it looked like they had the dog in the drunk tank at the station or something. It took several links to find the article.

I’m glad to hear that Bentley is being given proper care. Why should a canine companion have to suffer because we elect a government that is too stupid to isolate a deadly disease to the area where it originated?
