Republican Kansas Sen. Pat Roberts said Friday that he thinks the IRS targeting scandal was driven by Valerie Jarrett’s office in the White House, according to information that he saw that Democrats tried to “whitewash.”
Roberts told talk radio host Hugh Hewitt that he participated in a Senate Finance Committee investigation into the IRS scandal but “the effort was made by the majority, by the Democrats in the Congress, to simply end that investigation,” which he called a “whitewash.”
“I’m convinced that even Valerie Jarrett was involved,” Roberts said.

What will he actually do? We’ll never know, but can guess, as this will disappear by midweek.

Can’t hold people accountable when you are in the minority and the media is against you.
Face it, politics is, was and always will be Kabuki theater.
But do not minimize the impact of a majority Republican Senate investigation of the IRS scandal. I believe that investigation would be reopened and could easily affect the 2016 Presidential Election.
Those who criticize Senator Roberts as just another GOPe- dopey are simply misinformed. He has a very solid conservative voting record. Maybe he isn't Ted Cruz or Mike lee. But he is certainly not Mark Kirk.

The Justice Department is responsible for upholding the law.
The congress is responsible for writing them.
I agree about providing the credit. But - how about the rest of the details? Senator Rpberts seems to know this for sure - it’s not just a vague notion or rumor. Well - he needs to come out with the facts and share them with the American people. He needs to share the information immediately.
You and I are beating our head against a wall. There are a lot of bitter old angry curmudgeons who, even after 15 million anti RINO posts, thinks there is something original and intelligent about just blindly piling on and blindly dismissing good news.
These pharisees don’t realize that nothing in politics is either 100 or 0 - and when they refuse to acknowledge people doing things right, they lose all credibility with their criticism. They are not that smart frankly.

If you want to assume that you know his entire thought process on the basis of a 90 second video, then you are assuming facts not in evidence.
