Federal judge orders Texas to drop voter ID law immediately

A federal judge is ordering Texas to immediately drop its voter ID law after she found it unconstitutional.

In a court filing Saturday, U.S. District Judge Nelva Gonzalez Ramos of Corpus Christi issued a permanent and final injunction against the law, one of the toughest of its kind in the country.

A day earlier, the state had asked for clarification about whether law would be in place for the upcoming elections in November.

Gonzalez Ramos last week ruled the law was illegal, equating it to a “poll tax” that unfairly targets minority voters.

That’s the Left’s goal: to make you stop fighting for your country.

Good enough for Mandela, but not for this activist judge.

"... one of the toughest of its kind in the country."

Yeah, it's just so difficult and tough to pull out a picture ID and show it to an election official. It must be agonizing and painful for the so called "minorities" to do it.

We need to arrest and try a few Judges to remind them they are in the business of administering law not making law.

This country has gone from being a nation of laws to a nation of lawyers.

I say let’s just hold the election that Texas voters have declared it wants held, and the H__l with outsiders attempt to overturn the will of Texas voters.

Texas should defy this POS Zero-appointed traitor judge and then appeal immediately. The judge is just trying to save democrats in Novemner. Texas is in the 5th Circuit, yes? The Court of Appeals will overrule this one in a heartbeat.

With a name like Gonzales Ramos, what else to expect.

Frankly the executive should ignore that judge, however it explains why they sued Perry for firing that one Judge.

Abbott said it would be appealed. Monday, I guess? If we expect it to be a successful appeal, we need to make every conservative in the State aware of this RAT attack.

Wondering if this is part of the October Surprise. Get as many voter ID laws overturned so that voter fraud plots can be initiated just in time for the mid-term election.

“”I heard she thought the gas to get a photo ID was a poll tax.””

I’m not laughing as I believe it’s entirely possible!!!!!

Don’t need that... Just ignore the judge. What’s the judge going to do about it?

In the Democrat controlled precincts, where all of the voting fraud takes place, they will ignore the voter ID law on election day and claim that they are just following the judge's order.

In the Republican controlled precincts, where none of the voting fraud takes place, it doesn't matter whether they ignore the judge or the law.

Most Mexicans in Texas have a family tree loaded with illegals. I’m sure this Obama appointee is no different. Texas should ignore the ruling just as Obama ignored DOMA, which was the law of the land.
